- The university has adaptive and modern curriculum which was very aligned to the rapidly changing technologies and advancements as well as the requirements of the corporates and industries .
- The faculty all over was very cooperative, has a good understanding and connection with the students . They are supportive and guide you to enhance your skills and clear the doubts.
- The campus life was very vibrant and has a zero tolerance for ragging or any type of miss behavior.
Dislikes
- The university gives so many admissions every year , the campus always overcrowded . Whenever there's fee deadline comes you have to stand in a line for the submission of the fees.
- There several departments sometimes work very inefficiently and they may loose your important academic papers.
- More or less the always have issues in their university online portals and you to face a lot of issue regarding submission of fees or any other queries you have.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was highly adaptive and advanced. The university always tries to introduce new technologies to the students meeting the high demands of the industries. But it lacked in giving deeper knowledege of few subjects upto some extent. The curriculam was sometimes so fast paced the students lack behind even what they have learned and lots of unnecessary assignments.
Internships Opportunities
Normally students apply for interships from their side and stippend varies from 20,000-60,000/ month.We make pojects solving real life problems and applications we need for daily basis with knowledge gaind through university as weel from our side.
Placement Experience
Placements starts at the end of the sixth semester though you can go for interships before that after the approval by the department. Many companies visited like High Radius , Tech Mahindra , Cognizant , Birla Soft , Nissan , Accenture etc. Average pakage was 3,50,000-4,50,00
Fees and Financial Aid
The university conducts their on entrance cum scholarship test . According to your performance they provide upto 100% scholarships to selected students and 30-40% scholarchips to almost every students according to their merit. Also you have to maintain 8.5cgpa+ more in every semester for the continuetion of the scholarship.
Campus Life
In social aspects and club involvements the university pushes you to nest level , eventually you become more professional to your passion as well. They provide numerous opportunities to show your inner talent.
Hostel Facilities
Normally they have 4 seater rooms with a bunk bed , almirah , study table and a chair for every student. The meal quality is decent. The nearest loacality for a room and PG is a small town Kharar which is approx 7 Km away .
Admission
There is no as such specific criteria to get admission here . You can come here and take admission directly after completing your 12th, They give scholarship who score good in their 12th results or in JEE mains.
Faculty
As they take admissions in large amount , hence degrading the quality of staff would surely happen . Leaving few assistant professors most of them were new joiners which lacked experience. Though some of the good faculties always supported students and cleared our doubts effectively and responsibely. The thing from which I was highly impresses was that the faculty was highly approachable and you can contact them most of the time wether its university or not.
