Remarks

Better than average. Room for improvement. A ton of room for improvement.

Entrance Preview

Heard about it,has a great reputation, good infrastructure, decent crowd. Outgoing in sports and extra curricular activities. Supporting staff is helpful. Small campus, but a good library.

Course Curriculum Overview

Moderate. Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. Outdated as far as the current strata of engineering students is concerned. But can't do anything to change that. Course curriculum is the same which was during the time my mother became an engineer.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Pretty good experience. Depends on relationship with staff, and marks. Stipend depends upon branch, and company.

Placement Experience

Decent placement rate. Decent TPO. Very much depends upon your relationship with the professors. Good companies come in the final semester.

College Events

Annual cultural fest Annual gathering Tie day Saree day Annual sports TESA sports MESA sports ITSA sports ACEs Sports Algorithm Techcraft Dynamech Printera electrabuzz Quiz Paper presentation Workshops Health check-up Science forum

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Cheaper than the colleges around Pune. Offers a huge number of scholarships Government Non-government Private

Fees and Financial Aid

Government scholarships, Private scholarships. Loan facility for poor students. Earn and learn schemes.

Campus Life

Pretty good. Sports is always really good. Competitions are organised. Labs are well maintained. Supporting staff is helpful in some cases. 65-35 gender ratio. Robotics club Debate club Various sports teams Cricket Kabaddi Football Robocon BAJA SUPRA E-BAJA

Alumni/Alumna

Very helpful, good alumni program. Seniors are always there to help.

Exam Structure

Associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. First year students have online and written exams. Second year students have online and written and practical exams. Third year students have insem theory exam and final written exam and practical along with mini project Fourth year students have the same, except for mini project.

Admission

Appeared for hsc appeared for JEE mains Applied through DTE Got in at second list. Went to the college, submitted the form Had to fill a form at the college level

Faculty

3.5

Some staff is really educated, hard working, strives for excellence among students. Others, not so well. Reading out of a PowerPoint presentation, not answering when questions are asked, holding grudges etc. Office staff is a different nightmare. Get the work done, but after tons of hardship.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

College review of PVG COET, Pune

I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? To be honest I have also visited few college's spot round to check how are the processes going, but then I realised that only PVG's spot round are conducted in proper manner and that too in an auditorium....Read More

Pune vidyarthi gruha college of engineering and technology (pvgcoet) a overall great college with affordable fees

This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet. If you completed your diploma then go for Direct second year cet. This is what I choose....Read More
