Likes
- I like the way all of the staffs helped and supportedme while filling the documents while taking admission. While having any doubts they showed me the way and guided me throughout the process.
- I personally like the ambience as I entered the gate all I saw long road and greenery of trees along the road. The building structure is built perfect as students need.
- As I have opt for the Distance Education from Mumbai University I have good experience from the university for examinations. They timely conduct the exams and I have gotten the nicest exam centers throughout my Masters journey
Dislikes
- The University has to make the slightest changes in the exams point of view regarding the timetables for distance education comes lates and the information is not provided early.
- I personally want this to have some changes in the organization of the students as we literally dont get the important information from the university. As i would like if they made some groups for the batches.
- They dont teach for the distance education. It should really start as some students dont get the lectures. The first thing that came in my mind was don't they teach us.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I have completed my Bachelor's in Commerce and decided to go for futher studies while gaining some real world experience. So I taken my admission fo Master's of Commerce in the Mumbai University. The exam timings are ok ok and overall the experience is great.
Placement Experience
No campus placement is offered by the university. They should provide placements to the students who are eligible for the jobs. They should atleast provide trainings related to their field. Atleast students can learn more about the real life world.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is on per year basis. As we can also apply for scholarship. For completing my Master's total of fees of rs 16000 for 2 years. Students can also apply some documents of their caste to lower their fees.
Campus Life
As I have mentioned earlier I have opted for the distance education its like only going for the examination but i would like ylto attend th lectures..And yes I have visited the university 2 or 3 times, the campus is actually quite nice and peaceful.
Admission
You should have completed your Bachelor's of Commerce(B.Com) to be eligible for Master's degree in commerce. You can find offline as well as online application form on their website or by personally visiting the college. No exams are conducted for the admission process
Faculty
Hello I m student from the University of Mumbai (IDOL). The overall experience is good. Faculty providing is great.They provides Study materials to all thr students. Many students opt this Distance learning option as they want to study while doing work or gaining experiences. There was less interaction between the university and me and yes we can approach them if we have some doubts.
