Course Curriculum Overview
Curiculum is designed by the NOW scientists of India, I'm majoring in chemistry and curriculum is designed to address the need of FUTURE . Its up to dated with the techiniques which are currently in use in my fiend of reseach . Ato Z it covers everthing precisely. Our curriculum introduces with the up to date advancements. Be it industries or academia, it carter the need of both. In areas of Nuclear science, we need a more practical approach. frequent visits to nuclear plant and reactors are must so that we can get a sense of it . we have midsems and end sems both as written exams. endsem hold 40% weihtage and midsems hold 20% weightage rest 40% are iternals which can be viva or aassignment. Exams ranges from moderate to difficult as the exams test your ability to get the concept rather than testing your cramming capacity.

Tata institue fundamentals and BARC offered a 3 month internship. 20k stipend for 3 months. Project was to synthesize the protein as i was in protein chemistry lab there. internship from ETZ polyclinic zurich was also offered and other institutes around the world. international internships are generally fully funded.

General fee structure is 40k per year but we get scholarship of 5k permonth which is 60k per year. It is a government institute so there is no such fee hike. as a SC candidate for 5 YEARS of course i have to spend 1 lakh 50thousand rupees. but i'll get scholarship more than this so basically I'm studying for free. INSPIRE and DISHA scholarships are available for students. 5k permonth is the amount for both. No, as such there is no concept campus employments.

Admission process is easy and straightforward so no worries once you clear the exam.
Faculty
12 students per teacher. It is an excellent teacher to student ratio. Our teacher knows us very well and they mend themselves according to our needs. Teaching methods are up to date ad method of evaluation includes internal also. They provide explanation for each and everything, we dont have to cram anything. Scientists who are researching in that field are teaching us that subject which their research is based on. Our teachers includes padma shree and padma bhushan recipients . Scientists from BARC, TIFR,ICT, IIT bombay and other science institute come to teach us. Teachers are super nice, from their appearence you cant estimate their depth of knowledge. They are so humble andwould listen to your problems wheter academic or non academic. Seriously Group heads of Bhabha atomic research centre teaching you and moreover playing with you in mess . Man what more you could ask for . My HoD is super chill and would even help to make my SOP better so that I bag opportunities.
