Mechanical in symbiosis

Everything about our college is good. The only negative remark is that it is very far away from the main Pune city area which makes it difficult for the students to travel for their personal work.

The course curriculum is quite hard but the teachers make it so easy that its quite comfortable for an average student to pass. The exam is totally fair and so is its checking. Nothing out of the syllabus is given to us and mostly practical based questions are asked which plays a very essential role in increasing our practical knowledge in the field of engineering.

The placement is average as of every other college. But the internship opportunities are good. I'm currently pursuing with my internship semester in 512 Army base camp. I'm very lucky to have gotten an internship at such level only because of my college. Many other well off companies come to our college for taking up students for internship.

There are 3 main events that are being celebrated in our college which includes the Tech fest which is followed by various technical experiments, games, decoratives done by students. The 2nd one is the main college fest i.e Reverb, it is one of the biggest fest taken place every year and is a success every year. The 3rd is the pro-athletes which is a sport event in which different branch's student compete with each other and show their excellent performances. Each of the events is led forward not only by the college students but with the help of out teachers.

The annual fees for our college is 2 lakhs 30 thousand rupees in total. Apart from that, the hostel fees for one year are 1 lakh and 15 thousand rupees in total. The personal expense is around 5000 Rs to 7000 rs of an average student. Buses are available for traveling from one campus to another apart from that we can keep our own vehicles.

Not opted for any scholarship yet. But my aim is to pursue MBA from the US so I'm trying my best to crack the GRE and TOEFL exam.

Campus life is quite good and fascinating. Everybody is given equal importance be it a girl, boy or a foreign exchange student. Everybody lives in secularity and peace. There are many competition if debates held every year, mostly the inter-house debates in which either different student from different branch competes or different college from symbiosis university competes. Same goes for other competitions as well.

The senior students are very helpful in every way not only in academics but co-curricular activities too..

It was referred to me by my friend and relatives as it is one of the best colleges in India. I gave the SET exam and score quite well and was selected for the interview and counseling. Once I approached with the counseling I was given the branch of my choice i.e Mechanical.

The college faculties are helping in every way and make us feel safe and comfortable in every situation. They make the hard subjects seems easy and have a very good teaching skills. Apart from studies, they help you by reducing your mental stress and take up counseling for students.
