- It`s been a year since I have joined Chandigarh University. The things I liked the most about this college is that you will get an exposure about technology and new techniques
- I like the events which is organized inside the college campus for the students which is basically for the development
- You will get to interact with many foreigner students as well as faculty, so it will be very much helpful for improving conversation skills or soft skills
Dislikes
- According to me, the teaching method inside the classroom is not good because many faculty members just uses the pdfs which is available on their cuims app
- The partially behavior's of faculty towards students while giving internal marks
- The timing of class hour is not maintained properly
Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to choose this university by comparing it with others first but now I can tell you on my experience The curriculam of this college prepares you will for real world appplication because they help you by performing various experiments live in labs practically and provides many projects and real life case studies as well as opportunities the internal exams that is MSTs are conducted twice in a semester and there are two semester in a year the extenal paper is quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship, projects, cse study, real world applications and tasks is being provided to the college students I got a chance of social intership which is basically provided fot the exposure of villages and women empowerment but without stipend and I got a chance to work with ngo during this internship
Placement Experience
Final year students sit in placements that means they are eligible for inside campus placement. according to last year around 9000 placements are offered by 950 companies One of the highest international packagr is 1.2cr and highest national package is 65 lakh whilw average package is around 6 to 8 lakh around 75 percent student get placed during campus palacements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of this college vary from course to course The fees of BE-CSE is 1.2 lakh per semester and 2500 exam fees per semester along with 2000 security fees once during whole duration. The tution fee increase in the case of branch chanage. The Scholarship exam CUCET is available for students which is conducted before admission.
Campus Life
My overall experience is very good because of many factors such as friends from different states of India. There are many library in campus with a lot of books and journals with a very good and comfortable sitting and atmosphere. the facilities are provided in labs for practical experiments College focus on sports and club activities are ossm they organize like monthly event at least and organize cu nights for entertainment as well. I also joined social internship
Admission
The eligibility of the course is 10+2 with PCM. You can easily find the application form on CUCET website and they charge 1000 ruppes for cucet schlorship exam According to me the admission process is already very easy because of counclers
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is around 1:100 which is ok ok and the faculty credentials are surprisingly very good. They all are profestional and mostly factulty memebers hold degree of Doctrate. We can interact with teachers mainly in college hours but we can contact them on calls or messegaes if we need or through the CR`s
