What Students Say

Likes

Practical knowledge which strengthens the knowledge of the course offered
Experienced and understanding faculties to help you with the subjects offered
College campus is green and beautiful with many shops are available for stationary items, food and more

Dislikes

Labs infrastructure should be developed more so that we can work on more projects
Some facilities like lift services and in campus shuttle services can be availed by only international students and they don’t allow indian students

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Aspects like Genetic Engineering, Bioinformatics and Animal Cell Culture influenced me to choose this course. Practical sessions attended in labs are very effective. Infrastructures of lab should be advanced more. In every month MSTs are taken along with practical mst.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 90500 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many students are doing internships in various industries and laboratories like CSIR,PGI etc. College also provides LOR for internships or training. We are given projects to work on under a mentor and also we can patent it.

Placement Experience

For placement opportunities students must take TPP courses for 3 semester which costs Rs.10000 without taking TPP no one can sit in placement drives. My plans are to go for masters which is crucial in this field. Average placement package in our department is 4.5-6 LPA but getting placement is very difficult not much companies visit

Fees and Financial Aid

We require 90500 per semester including examination fee 2500 which can increase and semester fees also changes with batches. After giving their entrance exam one can get scholarships upto 100% but you have to maintain 7.5 cgpa in every semester to continue.

Campus Life

4.5

Yes there are many festivities which goes on in our campus. There is an annual project expo in our college which allows to showcase our skills. There are various clubs and social groups in our college and we have a sports complex too.

Admission

Admission was very easy I gave their entrance exam CUCET which was available in their website they took 1000 rupees for the exam they conduct the exam in two phases if anyone gives exam in phase 2 then scholarship % will be less compared to phase 1. Students can apply loan.

Faculty

Faculties provide various mode of teaching methods. They use a mix of lectures, interactive discussions, practical sessions to varied student needs.Faculties possess advanced degrees in their respective disciplines. They are available anytime we need.

Other Applied Colleges

Uttaranchal University | Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm]

Their placement opportunities were less

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
