The admission process was very lenient I was able to take admission just by going online through the website and giving the scholarship exam and applying for that after that I was given abroad the admission process was very lenient I was able to take admission just by going online through the website and giving the scholarship exam and applying for that after that I was given my UID through which I was able to login to their students site I was able to complete the whole process within seven days without any assistant or help just being home because of the pendomic.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course are very wide as my degree was bachelor of engineering at contains all the course subjects that I need it to cover it does have all the basics that I needed but I need it to study extra if I wanted to excel in that particular field.

Internships Opportunities

The college does provide the internship or simply jobs in the third year of your graduation the college have a program in which we can opt for that opportunity or opped out in which we do not have to attend the TPP classes or the placement drives.

The campus does provide placement as the season of recession is around us there are less job but are college is very pulling all the strings they can and getting up the jobs needed college is having the most number of companies within the state just to provide student a chance to apply for the jobs. But they are too many students which makes the selection process more challenging.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does provide a very good scholarship there is an exam before you are admission in which you are able to get a scholarship up to 100% I was able to score 50% scholarship and to maintain that scholarship I had to maintain my CGPA above 7.5 and as I was able to do that I had my scholarship through out the 4th year the college does provide a good financial assistant as the listen to their student and give them opportunity to present their cases if they are in able to pay their fees.

Campus Life

I had a good campus life I made good acquaintances and had a good support from the teachers the people were very supportive. I join the ethnic club and represented my state I was able to compete in the art competitions within the college and on the inter College level. The infrastructure provided by the college as getting better day by day now all classes have AC wents and the ventilation is very good as heat is rising it is very well needed.

Faculty

I think the faculty members are doing a very good job respective of their subject the college pay a good amount to the faculty and they respect the interest of student the college also listen to student about the teaching quality every semester at the end there is a link provided in which the students are able to rate the performance of their teacher

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document.
