Remarks

There is nothing bad in this college except the fine which is imposed by the college management.

Entrance Preview

I opted for this college because my seniors gave me the suggestion and more importantly i am really impressed with the kind of facilities the college is providing as compared with the other private colleges. It is one of the best emerging private colleges at that time

Internships Opportunities

When i am studying there not so much oppurtunities you have to do the internship by yourself but now they are working towards it to provide internship to the students.

Placement Experience

PSIT has very excellent record of placements and every passing year they are improving. In my batch almost 80 percent of students are placed. Many company like infosys, capegemini, tech mahindra, wabag etc come to our college to hire students. If you are from CS/IT then you will be surely placed by the end of your course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of PSIT is very expensive. For example for B.TECH the fees is around 1 to 1.5 lakh per annum plus if you take hostel then it will go over 2 lakh easily. If you are a day scholar and take college bus facility then it will cost you 35 thousand per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they also offer scholarship to students who score exceptionally well in their board or jee entrance exams. There are also fee waiver seats also and they are really quite cheap if you managed to get one.

Alumni/Alumna

PSIT has one of the best alumni network.Every year they call some alumni to motivate and share their experiences with the students.

Exam Structure

PSIT is affiliated to AKTU,so the external examinations are conducted by the AKTU. There are internal examinations also,in that you have to give three mid terms plus they also conduct pre university examination to make you familiar with university examinations.

Admission

Basically, I got admission in the management quota. In management quota, they give you a simple question paper consisting of simple aptitude questions which you can solve easily and then according to your marks scored in the paper they allow you the branch/stream.

Faculty

I think PSIT has managed to get one of the best faculties in the college. Many are very experienced and knowledgeable, you will really learn a lot from them and they always help you in solving your problems. There are few which do not have much command over their subject but exceptions are always there in every college.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

College experience as a day scholar

the only reason i choose this college was because i availed fee wavier and our financial condition was not so good back then. I failed to score good marks in JEE advanced or else i would've enrolled in some iit. The college does try to match its pace with tier 1 colleges but there's a lot more to be done. The college has direct as well as counselling based admission. Direct admission include a test and interview while counselling is done on the basis of competitive exam score...Read More

for computer science and engineering you must have given jee main in which your rank should be under 500k and must have more than 75% in maths, physics, chemistry. you can also directly apply for that course; you just have to take the admission test on campus and clear the interview round. The admission test on the campus is based on the basic application of maths physics chemistry as well as aptitude. according to your score, you will be allotted the branch of computer science. admission starts after the first attempt of jee mains. you can apply for college by visiting the campus if you want admission directly or can apply through UPTU counseling. application fees vary from course to course. you can get the reservation benefits from the counseling process, but for direct admission, you can ask for the reservation benefits from the management present on the campus. the admission process is quite easy and fast. you have to be active because the seat gets full within a month or two....Read More
