Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

IFIM law school is affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University, so the curriculum is based on that. Other than that IFIM has the Research Incubation(RI), Personality Enhancement Program(PEP), Social Immersion Program (SIP), all these classes for the development of the students. They also encourage students to participate in external competitions be it sports, moot courts or ADR events

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are provided by the IIP cell at IFIM. Bar council of India has a minimum criteria of 6 internships during the course of study, IFIM intends on giving 10 Internships after every semester break. First semester internships is at NGOs, IFIM has strong tie ups with PUCL, Rajasthan, over the next semesters it is in research centres like NLSIU, NALSAR, AMIKUS QRIAE then we have corporate internships at, KSK, LKS, Fox and Mandal, LUTHRA AND LUTHRA, SHARDUL AMARCHAND AND MANGALDAS, Litigation Internships at courts under Advocate on record at Supreme Court, judges of high court and district court

Placement Experience

3

At IFIM the Internships and Placements Committee has maintained a record of providing 100% internships to their students. The committee does provide long term assessment internships to the final year students to secure a PPO. At IFIM we focus solely on the talent of the student and henceforth internships are important. Campus placements are a thing that IFIM is still working on and with the coming days even that would start at IFIM Law School

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee of the the college is 2,00,000 for the the BBA.LLB course and 1,50,000 for the LLB course. IFIM does provide merit based scholarships to the students as well and also had tie ups with banks to provide educational loans. I have been a part of the admissions internship at IFIM Law School where I received a monthly stipend as well

Campus Life

4

Campus is small but it is full of various opportunities. You have a lot going on every month and you will not even realise how days pass by . There are 2 national events of moot court and ADR conducted annually, along with that there are intra college sports events, crime scene investigation event, seminars by judges and lawyers. Classrooms are spacious and also recorded sessions of classes are available so that you can go back and revise those concepts again. All the committees at IFIM are student run and there only the mentorship of the faculty that is present over there. So yeah it's a land of opportunities.

Admission

Firstly a student must have 45% or more in their class 10th and 12th. Then they have to take the college entrance exam ISAT. If that is cleared then they must ask for a Personal Interview round, and once selected, an offer letter will be generated to them. All of the application form details can be found on the IFIM Law School's website.

Faculty

4

The faculties over here are mostly phd holders or pursuing their PhDs. Faculties are approachable at all times and always welcome doubts and help the students out whenever required. The faculty to student ratio is 1:10 and one on one mentorship sessions are available also.

Interview Experience

4
