Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I am pursuing Petroleum Engineering and Technology in Anna University Chennai, Main campus , The course is neat and they gave a idea about that at first. No more course is bad at all , depends on your desire.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 40400 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I am doing my second year internship are available with stiphen on the last of thhis year so I can elaborate the company as much as possible in the next review, but as per my seniors they done some internships in cpcl and some in Kerala and in wood private limited

Placement Experience

Tamil Nadu's number one college and also offer quality and quantity placements over India and also create job opportunities to the world wide, so placements will be great and good in Anna University Chennai

Fees and Financial Aid

For different courses there will be different kind of fee structure, for BTech Petroleum Engineering and Technology the sem fee structure will be INR 20,200 /- and they also offer scholarship depends on the students caste and category.

Campus Life

Anna University Chennai is not only for studies , it also engage students with extra curricular activities like clubs like rotract club helping oldage homes , faana , NSS , NCC ,YRC , NSO, Gym , Football , Cricket Team , one of the coolest place in Chennai

Hostel Facilities

For 1st years there will be 3 sharing room , non AC room , Food quality is not bad , and it's a veg mess with weekly one meal chicken briyani , for hostel first time admission it will be done by demand draft (dd) bank available inside the campus, and they offer you a non veg token for 300 rs

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The only aspect of admission to Anna University is counselling, By TNEA Counselling, you have to fill the choice list of your own and then you have to submit and it takes 2 business days and further proceeds to a college. Further watch YouTube demo videos in college duniya channel

Faculty

No more negative impacts with staff or any faculties, they are excelled in their course and subject , All Anna University staff minimum qualification would be a PHD so there are all well learned faculties

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

My engineering cut off is 151.i have already booked a seat in Dr MGR university.But i waited for counseling too .Then before counseling I phone called colleges in Chennai,covai,Trichy I will tell my cut off and they will tell me the fees structure according to my cut off...nearly u have called every colleges in Chennai and Coimbatore sector... While I am calling for DHAANISH AHMED INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY I found that this college provides good education with affordable fees structure and provides good placement too so I came to visit my college.before that in MGR there is no hostel facility for bme students so i was told to stay in pg when I look at that ph photos I was too stunned i didn't even like that place....But when I came to my college I loved the environment and my hostel too so compared to other college I like this one. Then other colleges won't allow 1st yr students for internship and other college events but my college provides us on duty so we can freely participate so I love this the most.
