Right now, infrastructure is not good.. but soon it will be it will be ok.. because construction is going on. Advantage:- IIIT Ranchi is running in Nit Jamshedpur. So too much fun and diversity.
I was interested in Higher studies as well as this college is near to hometown so I preferred this over some other one.. one more thing I got to know that here in Mtech also I will be getting a chance for an internship, so this makes me more happy to join this college.
Its good.. but what I think is "what's attract you most, will matter ". Here Mtech is CSE and we know CSE is wide .. so you can go as per your convenience. The course curriculum has been designed by keeping mind of the need of the industry as well as research. But what I think for mtech also the course is towards placement oriented. But its ok Because if u are studying core computer science then you have a wide area to go for research.
Yes. There are so many companies who come here for an internship for all people btech as well as M.Tech. Stipend :- more than 30k monthly (avg ) for BTech people. Somewhere between 20-30 k for M.Tech people.
For Btech placement is awesome for all branches. As it is in TATANAGAR.. so most of the people get selected in tata steel, tata power and tata motor from core branches. For it people, there are lots of opportunities. For Mtech placement of CSE and ECE are better than other branches.. there are some PSU like BPCL which comes here for Btech people, this is one of the best points I think.
There are many events under this institution. Some of them are:- OJAAS, URJA, CULFEST etc you will get a chance to full fill all your dreams like singing, photography, dancing, coding, sports.. Bcoz for everything there is a separate society.. and u can join them as per your convenience.
Feasible .. if you are from the very marginal ground, like farmer etc and if you are not able to pay the institute fee, don't worry.. you can avail the facility of bank loan. SBI is on the campus which will provide you with the bank loan. Note:- here what I have found is that you can enjoy the hostel life which is itself an advantage that too in a normal fee which u pay in other institutions also..
Yea, there are too many.. you will be getting all the notification because every notification is uploaded on Website.
Campus life:- 350 Acres. Gender ratio:- 7:1 Diversity:- you will find people from every part of our country. But also there will be more people from Bihar, Jharkhand, up, West Bengal.. because its close to these states.. but its common.. bcoz in every institution you will find too many localities... Labs:- actually its too old institution, so right now not too good.. but yea construction is going on.
Hostel facility is awesome. I think everyone has heard about hostel J & K. There is hostel from A - K..now you can count.. Note:- recently constructed hostel J and hostel k, having 700 capacity of each ( 6 floors, on each floor 6 block and in each block u will find 20 rooms . There are a separate bathroom and all for each block). Mess facility is also better than most of the institution. (Especially for Non-vegetarian)..
Due to its long alumni network, placement is awesome.. because of its more than 50 yrs old institution.
It's good. You will be getting enough time to study for your exam.. Earlier there used to be three exams in a semester like t1 (20 marks), t2 (20marks), t3 (40 marks). But now it has been changed t1(30 marks), t2(50 marks ). 20 marks are for teachers assessment or u can say it as internal marks.
By qualifying GATE exam with a good rank. here BTech admission is done on the basis of JEE MAINS rank. for all Mtech courses, admission is done on the basis of GATE score. here MCA is also a course under computer applications department for which it has a separate examination.
They are good..mostly are PhD holder from some of the reputed institute of govt of India .. there is also some faculty who have done their PhD from outside. And what I have found that most of the faculty are too old, but yea they have their own advantage, bcoz you can take help from their experiences.
I came across about the course nanotechnology at Central University of jharkhand through newspaper ad. I find the course very fascinating and also the course was Integrated M.tech course. So, i find it great opportunity to learn about the nanotechnology. Also the fee for the students are subsidised to some extent as the University is under central government.
Management is not at all compatible with the academic people.
For the higher study, I did m.tech, because wants to go in the research field in computer science and engineering, cloud computing, my Moto is to do research and learn about the something new concept of the algorithm, coding, web pages, already I am doing coding works in how to secure cloud computing from the environment and hacking.
If you keep interest in Agriculture. You should take admission in this college. It is a total agricultural college. It is a state government University so it has some benefits of fee waiver. Students here can also prepare for other exams apart from course.
I just want that 2 main reason that it is still not popular. It is still in it's temporary campus. Placement scenario of engineering students is not good. Government should focus on this aspect to improve the education quality.
Positive thing is that you will get the superb guidance of the faculties of one of the premiere institute of India. You will get feel of National Institute there, you will have all the things at a single time The bad thing of the campus is that it doesn't have a canteen for even a small thing you have to go out.
The College management is extremely helpful and they are a team of strong and dynamic personalities who have a great vision to see the College excel and are working day and night to make their dream come true. Taking admission in RVS College of Engineering and Technology was one of my best decisions, and I am sure the College is on the way to becoming one of the best institutions in the country to provide world-class education and environment to the students. I miss my College. A proud RVSCET alumnus.
Very unique from another colleges. There are lots of facilities are provided by the government as it is an Indian Institute of technology. Very pleasant environment as per expectation.
The college is very much good at its level as compared to other reputed colleges across India in terms of education and practical experience...... experience was fabulous
