The infrastructure of the college is very very good you can get access to everything within the campus
There are variety of food options to eat in campus like dominos Pizza
There are also many stationery stationary campus before your needs

The campus of college is very big so you get tired walking in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course in my college because of the curriculum they provide it is based on global benchmarks and everything related to the courses and makes us the best in our courses, the frequency and timing of exams and the difficulty level are medium level.

Internships Opportunities

Yes of course they do get internships in 3rd year in the University itself. But if you want to intern in another external company, the university provides you with NOC (NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE) but only during 3rd year. I am telling this from my own experience as I am a 3rd-year student of Chandigarh University, BCA department, and I am currently interning in the University's Department of Media Center.

Placement Experience

The placement details like that students are eligible for placements in the third year of their degree most of the students get placed in a good company that visits the highest package is about 20 lacs and the minimum package is between 4 to 5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The increase in the tuition fees is active very low rate, they mostly do not increase the tution fees on a significant level mostly days on like 1% or 2% of the previous year's tuition fees there are also many financial and they provide today's students give their exam and based on the performance you get scholarships.

Campus Life

There are many fests going on in the university like every month. Every month day organize a festival so there are a good number of that happen in a University and University life is very happening and entertaining and enjoyable and they allow a wide range of clubs that run in the university.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities that the college provides are good like you the rules of the University hostel rooms are also very good and clean that you don't feel like you are living in a hostel and the quality of the food that they give to the students is also very good and you can eat it easily and the taste so that food is very nice and you can register for the hostel after applying to the university.

Admission

If you want to apply to the university you have to go to their website and field an application form then you have to take a test after that you can qualify degree in the college and the eligibility criteria is that you have a score of 70% in your boards.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good like they are well educated in their field and they also interact very frequently with the students so they can understand what's going on in the student's mind and they understand what they are studying.

Interview Experience

You have to take an online test to purchase a degree in the college the topics that are asked in the online test are based on your 12th class syllabus and the test pattern of the online test is based on MCQs you can easily qualify for the best.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
