Atlast I want to say that this college is good for the students belonging to the middle class family and also for the hardworking students.

I opted for this college as it was one of the best colleges in Odisha.It is a college that suits your budget.Also it has a good scope for some branches like CSE & ECE.Also there is a excellent scope for research and development.I opted this college as my marks in jee main was 56.

Talking about the course curriculum the syllabus and schedule for the students is very hectic.The main reason behind this is the 100 min. classes going on daily for 3 period and in addition to the lab of the particular subjects.Also the writing work in BPUT is a burden like lab records, assignment etc. But it totally depends upon the students that whether he/she takes it as burden or good practice.

Yes talking about internship Nist provides the internship for the following:Research work, Design and Analysis of model, Experimental and simulation. General stipend is around ?2000.

The placement & job opportunities in Nist are quite average means there is almost 70-80 % placement of CSE, IT & civil brach.And rest around 40-50% for other branches.The companies which come here were Accenture, Airports Authority Of India, BSNL, C.DOT, Convansys, Dell, Deloitte Consulting, Delsoft, DEXCELL, GRIDCO, HCL Infosystems Ltd, Hughes, IBM Global Services, I-Flex Solutions, Infosys Technologies, Integra Micro Systems, Kavery Telecoms Ltd., Mastek Ltd, Nucleus Software Exports Ltd, Orange, Polaris, Realsoft Technology, REI Systems, Reliance Infocom, Samsung, SAP Lab, TCS And Vedic Systems.The average package offered was 4-5 lakhs.

There are various events in the nist college like Technical, management and fun events like Sankalp, United Nations M.U.N, nukkad natak, blood donation camps,coding competition,inter college sports etc.But the most mega event among these is Sankalp which is a Technical event held for 3 days consisting of many events like Robotics, Web Designing, C Coding & Java Programming, Paper Presentation, VLSI, Quiz, Online Gaming, Debate, Galaxy, Art Gallery, Renewable Energy, Electronics Events, Treasure Hunt, Ethical Hacking, Inter College Dance Competion.

The fees structure of the college is quite average with an annual fees of about- ?1,45,00 for hostellers along with monthly ?3000 mess fees,?1,20,000 for day scholars.The best thing about this college is that all the money transaction and information about the fees is transparent through online information system.

One thing about the college is best that it provides the scholarship to the students with merit and also to students whose parents annual income is low.

Here the gender ratio as compared to other colleges is low,i.e,6:1.There is nothing called student parties or such political concepts as such in the college.Talking about extracurricular games and sports are very less played here except for the interested ones.But the competitions in all fields are regularly held & participated by the college.

Hostel facilities are quite good as it has a good no. of rooms for accommodation.The 1st year students are kept in different hostels away from the main hostels.The mess food is average rated.Students get 6 days non-veg with the menu of fish, chicken &egg each twice a week.

Talking about the alumni,they visit very less to the campus.But on other hand the seniors are very helpful.

The exam structure in nist is very hectic and vast i.e,here there is 4 class-test,4 quiz test,4 assignments,1 surprise test and the final main semester BPUT exam for each subject in semester.Also in addition to these the weekly lab assesment of each subject. So one can calculate how much hectic is the schedule here.

I got admission in the college through jee main.But one can also join directly or through odisha jee examination.After getting the marks & rank of jee or o-jee,we can apply for this college through official site of o-jee.And after that according to your preferred branch choice you can go for the counselling.

In nist the faculties are available till the end of the day and also if urgent (before some exam) students can contact the faculty through phone.The faculties here are very interested in teaching the respective course and also there are mentors for the each slot(20-30) of students to guide them.
