Course Curriculum Overview
Specific aspect will be the praise of certain teachers whom i have from seniors The cirriculum is made by GU and it doesnt prepare us for the world. it only teaches bookish knowledge Course should be altered so that it prepares students for the real world The frequency and timing of exams are on spot and as for difficulty, it is within standards.
Placement Experience
from 6th sem students become eligiblre for campus placements ICICI Bank and it made about 3 offers Highest average was 450000 and average package is 300000 10% of students gets placement i am studying for bank exams
Fees and Financial Aid
Gauhati Commerce College is one of the most prestigious college of Assam. It has been accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC. It provides education at higher secondary level, graduate level and post graduate level. The college has been rapidly growing with over 3000+ students. The professors here very welcoming except some but being welcoming isn't enough. It feels like they are being forced to teach. They just teach using just a powerpoint presentation. Sometimes they are too moody to teach so they just give attendance and leave. This should be worked upon. The fees structure is here quite reasonable compared to other collegers I belonged to OBC category so i paid less than the general category students. My genral category batchmates paid almost 5-6k per sem whereas i paid only 700-800 per sem. Scholarship is also given to SC/ST students
Campus Life
Annual festivals are held, sports are held during winter range and accessibility of books and journals are huge one projectot is present is almost every classrooms and 4 AC are present are present in some classes there is a badmintion court, basketball court and a field there are various clubs like book club, sports club, gym club

The eligibility is 10+ 2 pass All the details regarding admission is provided in the college website Yes reservation benefits are available The timing of the exams are on spot and as for difficulty, they are within standards A proper helpline number should be given to students
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite nice with professors for every students. But some professors know how to guide and some don't. Interaction with teachers is not a problem as they are caring except for some. They need to change their attitude
