Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is decent for CSE branch. Each semester we have around 7-8 Subjects and few online course's from NPTEL,Coursera and LinkedIn. The curriculum does not contain all import subjects that are relevent to our carreer although university conducts workshops for these topics I think univeristy should more focus on bring those subjects are topics that are more relvent to campus placements. We have exams each month the difficulty is medim.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I opted for an internship from metacrafters it was a summer internship for 2 months. There are a lot of internship opportunities available to students Each semester we have a major project for which we have to write report plans and review papers. It enhances our skills.

Placement Experience

4

From 7th semester students become eligble for campus placements. Most Of the MNC visit the campus like EPAM, Accenture, Sabbre, Toddle, Wipre, Unisys, JTG, TVS, NI Systems, Wissen, Quanthiphi, TCS,Morgan Stanley. They offer packages ranging from 6LPA to 30LPA. Till now i my batch highest package is 24LPA. The average package is 7LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Semester Fess when I enrolled was 90K. There is an examination fee which 2k per semester. Later it was increased to 2.5k from the 6th Semester onwards. There is a one-time security deposit of 2k which is refundable. After the Second year, there is also a one-time fee for TPP(Training Placement Program) which is non-refundable. Only TPP-enrolled students can sit in campus placements.

Campus Life

3.5

Life at campus is great a little bit of overcrowding is there but other than that it is great. 3 central libraries are open till 10 PM and they have all major books from all departments. other than that each block has its library consisting of all books and journals for that department. We Have a lot of campus fests the main fest is CU-FEST which is held in February. Other than that we have a fest for all major festivals and events.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes for the first semester, I was in a hostel. The Hostel experience was decent. I will rate the food 3.5/5. We get 4 meals in a day morning, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. 2 times a week Non-veg is available. There is an option for AC and NON-AC Rooms. There are 2,3,4,5 seater Rooms available. One can only opt for a hostel during admission and once we opt out for a hostel we can't take it again there are a lot of PGs Available near the College

Admission

The Eligiblity for the course is 50% in 12th for appying. Then we have an entrance test CUCET. After clearing it we can take addmission The details regaring forms ,fees and dates can be found on the official website. The Entrance test is MCQ based online test which has syllabus of 11th and 12th. The Addmission process is very simple and straight forward.

Faculty

3

The Faculty and student ratio is about 150students per teacher. Most of the teachers have masters in thier field very few teachers with doctrate. We can approach teachers during pre defind meeting ours for each teacher.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
