Remarks
In my personal opinion, the college is best in Kanpur in terms of results, placements, education quality and fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, the structure of the course curriculum and exam are as per university guidelines. There are unit tests which are held after completing every unit, 2 class tests (CTs)and pre-university test (PUT)in every semester which helps the students to boost up their preparation for university examination.
Placement Experience
Placements for the CSE branch and other branches are good. You will get placed if you work hard. Many students opt for higher studies and competitive exams, but overall, the placements are good including off-campus and on-campus placement drives. There is a placement cell which works very efficiently.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you are talking about only for admission fee that was 92K approx.last year and the Hostel fee approx. 59K. But if you have a good percentage in your 10+2 level or you are qualified for JEE mains then there are some discount on tuition fee as decided by the institute every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the state government provides a scholarship to the economically backward students. You can avail scholarship which is given by state government if you fulfil the criteria as per state government scholarship norms.
Campus Life
The campus crowd is very good. The campus is located in the centre of the city, so the connectivity through all modes of transport is good. Extracurricular activities, sports, debates are held time to time and there are various technical events such as Robo race are organised which helps to enhance our technical skills.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the seniors help very much while you are new in the campus, seniors guide you and inform about the rules and regulations of the campus. Assemblies are arranged by them for interaction with juniors.
Admission
I took admission directly in this college. There are various processes to take admission. You can take admission by your UPSEE rank, JEE rank and directly also. But if you are thinking about direct admission then book your seat as much as possible after UPSEEE.
Faculty
The teachers are highly qualified and very helpful to students. They are highly knowledgeable about the subject they teach. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:20. Students get proper industry exposure as various workshops and seminars are organised in the college.
