What Students Say

Likes

Freedom is given to students for internships and research purposes
Lot of opportunities given like many clubs ,lots of sports and strong alumini network

Dislikes

People are distracted in useless things like relationships and all
Placement cell is not too active which is very important thing in college ,they are too busy managing their own studies

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Lots of opportunities in this course ,they are very focused on specialisation,This curricular is very good for real world applications I believe. They have project oriented course. They could focus more on getting good faculties I believe. The frequency is quite regular it involves quizes and weekly test too.It is not difficult to pass exam.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying a fees of 468000 yearly with 20 percent scholarship, which includes 160000 of hostel and mess charges. Some of my batchmates have 30 percent scholarship.10 percent scholarship is there for 65 percentile,20 percent fir 70 percentile and 30 percent for 75 percentile.45000 for registration charges 15000 for alumini charges,6000 for registration charges

Campus Life

The annual fest name is UPHORIA, it is amazing we ahve lots of techinal fests.Almost all our 1st week was introduction to diiferenct clubs and fests.Library is really good it is promoted by The Dean itself to stufy in library it has variety of books apart from course book .Facilities are really good almost all the proffessors are techy .It offers variety of sports .in our first week itself we were introduced to training camps and friendly matches .Clubs are really good we had an orientation program for intordcution of clubs itself

Admission

It was my last option college and for pretty much everyone this is last option college.I applied for shiv nadar university, National forensic science University and IIIT hyd through ugee and got rejected in all of this .I didn't prepare for these colleges I believe like,This college is direct admission based on jee marks

Faculty

Course Structure is just like typical btech college. 8 sems .midsems . We have 30 students for 1 teacher ratio .Faculty is not so great it is very hard to understand them.We have to follow hierarchy to meet faculties . We have to first go to program coordinator and then to faculties.I can't name but 1 sem maths faculty was very hard to understand. She had poor communication skills.exams are easy it is very easy to get 8 cgpa in college which is required to maintain scholarship

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Bennett University worth or not ???

Other colleges I applied for were -- VIT Velore, SRM University, Manipal University and sat for counseling too. The reason I didn't take admission in these colleges was mostly because of the distance from my home. I wanted a good college near my hometown and Bennett was the perfect candidate. It was close to my home city, provided the course I wanted to take and had a decent average package. The curriculum, fests, infrastructure and in general living conditions here at Bennett University are better than those at other colleges. But the placements and the education quality need improvement. The admission process is pretty simple: just register on the website, then fill out the form. After this, you have to come to the college to complete the registrations, that's it....Read More
