College days

The curriculum we had is mostly theory-based and there are practical labs of course up to the sixth semester but still the theory portions are more. And the lab facilities are not that much good. I personally think we need more advanced curriculum to get a better job in the field and enhance more knowledge.

The admission procedures the course cost almost thirty five thousand rupees including the seat allotment, lab charges, pta fund etc. I don't want tuition so it never happened. The PTA fund was around ten thousand rupees. The uniform and the accessories cost almost three to four thousand extra.

I always participated in fest events and joined as a volunteer for some of the clubs and events during the fest. I was an volunteer for the decoration committee of the technical fest and also a jojned volunteer of the treasure hunt conducted during the fest by electronics batch.

I joined my college after the keam exam conducted by the kerala government for joining btech. I also wrote an entrance exam for cusat that is Cochin University i chose ktu over cusat. I applied for almost three colleges one in Chengannur other in kochi but my first option was the college I joined. I got the selection at the very first allotment. I had an rank of 29,000 in keam which is the minimum criterion to enter college and I also had a good mark in high school almost 80 percent and in higher secondary 85 percent. These marks help me a lot with the admission procedures.

The exams an engineering student almost goes through 60 exams during graduation. So many exams are there and the student-teacher relationship are not pretty much good. Even though there are good teachers there are bad ones too. The teacher is mostly loved was Preeta Sher was our communication teacher she was good at her subject and a lot of knowledge and love for the students. The teacher i hated the most was Nisha maam who was our hod her relationship with students was bad and she did not encourage the students at all.
