- The infrastructure is good overall considering the fact that the campus is recently built and regular renovations take place
- The engagement and interaction with other students is very good since all the boys live together in three blocks and recent interactions are inevitable and hence the social life can be developed easily.
- The faculty members are much helpful and friendly in nature.
Dislikes
- The quality of the mess food is not upto the mark and the cleanliness and hygiene in hostel could be better
- As said the AKTU marking system is quite spontaneous nothing can be said about the result, it comes out as a lottery
- The placement system is not adequate in state government colleges and the placement drives do not offer much package.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum needs to be updated and the university needs to pay attention to the curriculum instead of just copying the curriculum from IITs. However the curriculum is quite easy to comprehend depending on the toughness of the subject.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees for the course is roughly 48300 for all categories excluding the hostel charges additional 11000 if you opt for hostel and the mess charges are 16500 per semester and the exam fees to be paid each year is almost 8000 and the caution fees is submitted only for the 1st year students i.e. rs. 5000 one time. The fees for fee waiver students is almost 28300 and now the scholarship program comes under up scholarship scheme for OBC and GEN students it's roughly 64000 while for SC and ST students it's roughly 72000
Campus Life
Social events occur regularly the annual cultural fest being REVERB and the annual tech fest AVATAR and the annual sports fest PACE while the annual literacy fest MUKTAKASH these all events are organised and managed by student bodies and clubs which consists of students members interested in respective activities under a faculty in charge. Various sports are present such as basketball, cricket, volleyball,etc. A respective student activity centre is provided for various indoor sports, cultural and social activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is provided by the college administration where students have to pay ?11000 for hostel allotment while separate ?16500 are charged for mess food which is compulsory if hostel is opted. Each room has three students and the room consists of just a bed, a table, a chair, an almirah and a fan.The mess food is quite ok however it easily can be better .
Admission
The college was allotted by the counselling process of the AKTU which is done on the basis of JEE Mains rank. The exposure would be much more if the other college were allotted that I preferred and the developed cities would help in the overall development as a student.
Faculty
The faculty for each subject are separate and quit helpful in the light of education or life problems.There are roughly 5 subject per semester, 3-4 labs and 1 non credit subject. The Examination are invrhe forms of internals and externals including internal viva, quiz, assignment for internal marks and semester examination for external marks, in the case of labs internal viva, lab reports and lab attendance is used for giving internal marks and an external practical examination for external marks
