What Students Say

Likes

Their campus and campus facilities are amazing.
Their modern curriculum makes it stand out.
They provide you with free MOOCS courses. They support you with patents , research papers , internships even in 1 st year

Dislikes

There are more than 10k+ students of cse. So competition is high
Their placements are very good if you are in top 800 or else u would not get a good package

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In Chandigarh University, the curriculum is modern . They basically don't teach "subjects" or "topics" that are irrelevant to industrial expects. They give u a supportive curriculum which may be used in further studies. They also provide u MOOCS courses like coursera free which very much helps students gain necessary skills.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Here , in first year itself u get official mails of companies such as teachnook with collaborations of IITs . Basically they are a training-internship programs . 2 months training - internship program in any cse field u want. Stipend is 5k to 40k according to the internship ,and your skills.

Placement Experience

In Chandigarh University, placement rate and quality is increasing year by year. If 5000 cse students sits for placement, 3500 can grap it. And 800 students get a very good package at campus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Chandigarh University is ranked #20 Nirf ranking in India. The detailed fee structure of cse in specialisation with AI/ML is 1.6 lakhs per semister but we don't have to worry about fees... 'CUCET' is a scholarship exam provided by Chandigarh University. If u option for CSE core it's 1.36lakhs per semister even if ur family income is less than 2.5 LPA , this university will provide u with major fees waiver

Campus Life

4.5

Chandigarh University has a very good campus over a campus area of 200+ acres. It's beautiful and green All students get a opportunity to join as many as clubs and societies they want . There are club and societies for every talent and every knowledge. They have a sport complex and many play space in it. It impacts students in a very very positive way. As every talent is recognised here

Admission

Basically , I scored 95 %ile in jee mains. I was getting NIT Surat civil engineering which wasn't my intrest/domain . I wanted to go VIT Vellore but it took so much fees. The best choice for CSE with me was Chandigarh University. It provides u cse specialization with a very good modern curriculum. So I chose Chandigarh University as my option over all private universities

Faculty

There are many faculties itself in cse , as there are 10k students in cse including all cse beaches . So , if u have let's say 5 faculties, 3 faculties will me very helpful and supportive. Even mentors are provided here for students.every 35 students have a mentor

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
