Gujarat ayurveda university - Complete details.

As, this is a good course and it's demand is increasing nowadays, especially after corona, I'm satisfied with what i opted. Also, the pattern of examination and curriculum design makes it little tough for average student to grasp but it focuses completely on practical skills of the students and not just theory.

Internship is mandatory in our curriculum as it is the part of our course. 1 year of non stipendiary internship is compulsory in which 6 months, we have to complete it in our affiliated hospital and other 6 months, we join either PHC, CHC or any hospital which is NABH accredited.

In campus placements are conducted by our college in which package after undergraduation lies around 5-6lpa max. But if a student has good experience in clinic, and aims to have his own clinic after the graduation, then earning has no limit. Also, there are post graduation programs in the same field in which wecan get stipend upto 1 lakh per month if we get any good central university aftergiving AIAPGET.

Yearly, fees is 271000/- Rs as tution fees. 3000/- for examination fees 18000/- for hostel fees. 4.5 years in total so, 1219500/- Rs in total as tution fees will be charged, in which 9 terms are there so each term, 135500/- rs will be charged.

Annual festival is conducted every year and inter college competition is also conducted by our university which provides fun with learning. Cultural programmes are conducted every now and then, on each festival, cultural week, annual day, so many festivals are conducted. In short there's nothing like boredom over here, campus life is great.

Hostel facility is available for girls in campus only but for boys it's not available. The charge of hostel is 18000/- per year in which only accomodation is provided. Mess and other charges are different. 3 girls per room is allotted and washrooms are common for each floor. Also if one wills to get a PG then charges may go upto 60k per year excluding food. Also there are some government hostels in the city where students live, it has zero charges and is too good for a student. The rooms are spacious and environment is good as well. But the only negative point is the distance from the college as it is too far around 10-12kms from the college.

This college had very huge OPD count of patients as compared to other colleges and asit is said, medical field requires more of practical skills than just bookish knowledge.. Also, acpugmec conducts our admission process in which all the colleges of our state, participate and we can make a list of colleges we want to have admission in, and based on merit, we get into one.

Faculties are too good actually. For each subject we have assistant professor, associate professor and head of the department. In total we have 19 subjects to vover in 4.5 years. University exams are thrice in each 1.5 years and in between terminal exams are conducted by college itself. All the marks of all exams are considered in university exam so it is very important. In each 1.5 year duration, 9 periodical assessments are conducted, the marks of which are also calculated in the end.
