Course Curriculum Overview
The ability to work in changing and evolving landscape in terms of real estate and construction attracts a lot of students in this branch of engineering but the curriculum is not as per the industry requirements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fees for my BTech in Civil Engineering programme was Rs. 1,32,000 out of which Tuition fee was Rs, 75,000, caution deposit was Rs, 5,000, library fee was Rs, 10,000, and admission fees was Rs. 15,000 and miscellinous charges were Rs. 27,000 whih comprises of various factors such as building fee, lab fee, examination fee among many others. The Total fee from second year onwards till my final year of BTech in Civil Engineering programme reduced to Rs. 1,10,000. My college also used to accept various national and state level scholarship programmes applying which students gets deduction in their total fees for their programme such as post matric scholarship, minorities scholarship, EWS scholarship and many others scholarships were there.
Campus Life
Overall experience was good as there were many co-curricular activities and many of the faculties were good and supportive. The accessibility for books were good as any students can get any book required by him/her.
Admission
I selected this college because was and is popular for its technical programme and placement support. I also applied for other colleges but finally I decided to get enrolled in this college as it was a good option then for me.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was 1:50 at that time when I was enrolled in there. There are a total of 8 exams out of which 2 semesters, 2 sessionals and 2 pre semester exams.. Majority of the students were able to pass the exam. The course curriculum needs an upgrade.
