Remarks

Good remarks: 1) Great campus environment for learning, 2) Good and supportive faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is outdated but our college is making efforts towards coping with it. We have regular exams and also Pre-university tests in our college. Sessional exams which are like unit tests are organized every 1-2 months of time. 2 sessional exams every semester.

Placement Experience

4

Good placements. Many internship opportunities are provided by the college. Summer internship opportunities are provided by the college.

College Events

4

We have various events like Navonmesh for the entire college and FACE-IT and FAHRENHEIT by the CT department. Navonmesh is organized in the month of January while FACE-IT is organized in the month of March. There are various sports and extra-curricular activities in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees are approximately 83,000? per year for B.E. degree. First-year fees are around 88,000 which includes 5,000 of the security deposit which is refundable. These fee amounts are for general category students. If you need books from the library, you need to pay 1500-2000 extra.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan for getting admission into the college.

Campus Life

4.5

Great campus life. The gender ratio in the CT department is good. There are more female students than males in the CT department. The campus is well-diverse with students from various parts of the country coming to study here. There are a large number of opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, senior students are very helpful, encouraging. They provide good guidance to their juniors about academics, placements, etc.

Admission

On the basis of JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) Marks. The admission process is through the Directorate of Technical Education website. You have to enter colleges by your preference and you get college allotted on the basis of your Joint Entrance Examination marks.

Faculty

5

The faculty is really good and supportive. The teachers are also very encouraging. Head of Department (HOD) sir is also very good, supportive, and encouraging. Class in-charge and subject teachers are knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
