Remarks

It is average. The campus will be a good and peaceful place to learn. There will be some strict and silly rules imposed on the students by the college management.

Placement Experience

Placements are much good. There are too many companies come for the placement process like Aditya Birla Group, Jabong.com, Amazon, Wills Lifestyle etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is too expensive and it is feasible and affordable. The fees for this course is INR 4.32 lakh one year. The total fees for this course are INT 18.41 lakh.

Campus Life

College campus is equipped with the facilities of many extra co-curricular activities like a basketball court, cricket ground, NSS, NCC, and many more.

Admission

First of all, I was asked to fill a form so I filled the form and then I was asked to submit the fee and after that, I was provided with my roll number and I got the admission at this college.

The faculty is nice and helpful for all students and guest persons. The way of teaching is good and they teach politely. They support the students and help to complete their projects and preparation of the exam.

A balanced academic experience at Poddar college

Likes

Teachers are very nice and supportive . They helped me so much.
Infrastructure is very elegant and properly maintained.
There is well equipped computers lab and air conditioned classrooms.

Placement Experience:

The average package is modest and placements mainly depend on students skill and performance. Many student prefer higher studies ,internship or off campus job opportunities after completing the course.

Likes

The college campus is really neat and clean.
A lot of social activities are done which are really good for the personal growth of the students.
The curriculum is wholly practical based which gives the best knowledge.

Dislikes

If you get selected by one company in placements you are not allowed to sit for another brand.
There are a lot of assignments which helps but also feels hectic for the students.
There is no air conditioners, common room and microwave in boys hostels yet. They are provided with coolers instead.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last (eighth) semester. The placement is done on centralised basis. Companies like myntra, Aditya birla group and some more come to the placements. Last year the average package was around 600000 per year. My plan after the degree is to get some experience from jobs and then start something of my own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose fashion design because it was my dream. In Jodhpur amongst private institutions Jd institute of fashion technology is the best institute and the faculties are so friendly and understanding. It feels like home. The teaching method of faculties is very easy and all the faculties are specialised in their field. In every 6 months exams are held semester-wise and it's very easy to pass an exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is semester wise and faculty members are very helpful and well educated and also experience in nift or nifd college. I had been choosing this course because I have an interest in this course, their faculty and students ratio is 5:10. Exam term is annual exam and exam is difficult but students are already prepared by teachers so they clear their exams easily.

NIFT has total of 16 campuses allover India, however the campus of Jodhpur is established in 2010. so it is currently developing. hence the branch of Jodhpur is doing its best to explore more opportunities for its students.

Best college for study

Remarks:

The positive thing is there are no ragging and harassment from the side of seniors. We have our own anti-ragging cell which consists of one 4th year student of each stream and some guardians and teachers.
