Course Curriculum Overview
The decision of choosing this course is due versatility of the curriculum. The curriculum provides minor courses which is a different course than the main stream. The curriculum also provides project work at the last to explore the real world scenario and simulations also. The frequency of the internal exam will almost two months in a semester and it is moderately difficult.
Internships Opportunities
The internship withe companies are many done by the students. The students themselves find out the companies internship that are available and the college approves it in there letter pad for further proceedings. Students do the internship at ISRO and many other private and government companies.
Placement Experience
The placements offered by the college is good. The average package is around 5LPA and so many core and non core companies will come for recruitment. The company's that came this year are Caterpillar, Ashoke Leyland, Shobha constructions, Cynlr etc. On an average of 50% of students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee is around 10000 which covers tution fee and exam fees. But it kept increasing as the semesters passes. The scholarship and reservations also. Those people has to pay less.The scholarship includes both central government funded and state government funded
Campus Life
The campus life actually good here. It includes both technical and cultural events. The college also has many technical and cultural clubs in students can excel their talent. The classrooms has protectors which is used for visual explanation by the faculties. The theory that is acquired in classrooms can be made practical in the labs and workshops which is another feature of the college.
Admission
The reason why choose college is due to its prestige and its excellence in creating good engineer's. It is also the top government Engineering college in Kerala. It also provides placements to more than half of the students and no other college has this. The eligibility is the rank in KEAM exam and as it is one of the number one college you require high rank in the KEAM exam to secure a seat in your favourite branch.
Faculty
The faculties members are very supportive. They provide the notes of the respective modules in Google classroom. There two internals exams per semester and a final semester exam. Also one semester exam. There are also 2 assignments per subject in a semester. Almost a pass rate of 75% is present. The courses in the curriculum deals with relevant subjects and changes after almost 4 years
