Course Curriculum Overview
As I chosen commerce group in my 12th , I wanted to learn further about the course and also shown interest in management of the business, marketing and Human Resource Management .The teaching methods was in the best way of faculties. They not only engage in teaching but moreover conduct activities related to that specific topic.The timing of exam will be mostly 9 am to 12pm or 8am to 10 am incase of internal exams.
Internships Opportunities
For internships the faculty will provide you the request letter from the college and you can proceed with companies with that by your own choice and the placement opportunities will also contains internship opportunities after college companies like Adidas with stipend of 10,000 P.M .There will be projects in the 3rd year in the papers of International Business , Auditing and more which will be beneficial to add to your resume and to experience work environment.
Placement Experience
After completion of your 2nd yr , they provide you free training by personalized training and placement agencies .In the mid of 5th semester the placement process starts . Max 80 -90% students will be placed in reputed companies. Stella serves the best incase of placements .The starting salary will be around 3Lk/P.a with better roles.
Fees and Financial Aid
The stella Maris college fee structure is a medium level which is not too high or low i.e affordable for students.As I am a morning shift student , it takes around 14000 per semester and 7500 for 2nd semester totally 21500 for 1st yr. They also provide ST/SC scholarships more other scholarships on certain criteria and compliance.
Campus Life
They conduct culturals every year in the Campus ,plus they conduct lots of social Activities in the open auditorium. The 2nd yr students has tour for 1 day or 2 days and the 3rd yr students has tour to wayanad , mysore or Hyderabad based on their preferences and the total package of the tour will be around 8000-12000. Every student has to engage in any one sport in her semester, as it is compulsory .
Admission
This college gives freedom on students choice over culturals or club activities as other college conduct strict regulations over programs. They conduct awareness programs, DJ night , Neon nights and music or drama once a year .I got selected in another college but I have chosen this .The admission process will be based on merit ,strictly on merit basis only .
Faculty
The college faculties are very friendly and kind but if it comes to academics / attendance they are too strict on it .The course or subjects will be clearly thought by the teacher even you have doubts you are fee to discuss anytime.They will conduct 2 CA's , the best mark will be considered for internals other internal marks will be on the basis of presentation, projects and subject related activities.
