What Students Say

Likes

Surrounding of colleges ,sports ground are too good.
The college provide nss units spc unit for our good future
They provide trip also per year. They provide enjoyment too

Dislikes

The teachers are strict for silly reasons

Course Curriculum Overview

The BSc Zoology course curriculum is generally relevant to the field of zoology, covering fundamental topics like animal diversity, ecology, evolution, physiology, and genetics. It provides a solid foundation for understanding animal biology and related fields.

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 1960 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fee is Rs 1960 which is very much feasible. This is a plus point of the college. We had so much low fee structure for the entire programme that we were able to pay the fee through our stipends. It's good thing that college keeps such a less fee. The curriculum provides advanced knowledge of the subject. We were more indulged in practical works and lab works. We spent lot of our times in the setting up apparatus for the experiment or taking readings. It doesnt provide any place ment Scholorship are aplicable for scst and egratz are applicable for other students with low income

Campus Life

4.5

In College Meeting new people and making friends from diverse backgrounds and Interacting with faculty and staff beyond academics.Joining clubs and organizations aligned with interests (e.g., sports, music, drama, or community service) Developing new skills and leadership abilities Networking with like-minded individuals

Admission

Nirmala Giri College have a stronger reputation in zoology compared to other colleges. Other colleges is located in urban areas, offering more exposure and opportunities. Other colleges might have higher otuition fees, affecting affordability

Faculty

3.5

The teachers are very strict at sudies. This is a degree of 3 year. There are 6 semester we should clear. If got lesss marks in semester exam we can improve it by improvement exams. A small amount off fees is applicable to write the improvement exam

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Likes

Academic excellence is there. 90 % of students are merit based admission, those who have achieved 90 and above percentage in 12 th grade. So there is high passing percentage.
Cultural programs are regularly conducted. Don't feel stressed out by studies

Dislikes

Sports activities are not regularly conducted or encouraged
Chemistry lab is not clean, chemicals are not kept correctly

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.
