I like the faculty the teachers are amazing achers it has very experienced teachers.
The campus offers various activities like volleyball football and many games which can help you enhance you skillset

Dislikes

The crowd is very much good but there are few things which sre questionable.
The politics in the campus is also not a very delightful experience

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty and there experience is the main thing which bent me towards this course.There are skill enhacement courses public presentations that hepls us overcome our fear.There should be more improvements in co curricular activities.The timings of exams is very good as it gives enough time for us to prepare and all.

Internships Opportunities

There are summers internships campaingn where compamies offer internships to 2nd year students.There are many practical projects for the students which give them practical knowledge.Many accoutancy related projects are given for practcial and therotical knowledge

The 4th semester students can sit in the interviews for internships and the final yesr student are eligible to give get a final job offer.There were many startups and the average package is around 6-7 lakhs

There are various socities which organise various activites and plays dramas.The library of the college is very vast it has 3000+physical books and 2000 around e books in the library.there are many sports like volleyball an open gym cricket and football

I had apllied for many colleges in Delhi university.The main reason to choose this college was the faculties compared to other colleges i was getting and at the end you will a Delhi university degree.To get admission in my college you need to crack cuet the admission process is overall online and you just need to verify you documents offline it over all a hassle free experience

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good its about 40:1 the teachers are very sweet and good there are many doubt groups formed for each subject they try to solve all you problems.our business law teacher is a master in his subject as it is in business organisation management the financial accounting Teacher gives very practical projects.There are various class tests on regular basis there is a mid sem exam and an end sem exam in total there 2 main exams in a year.

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

A balance mix of academics, activities and affordability

DU life is better than any other college life

It depends on the merit list and the entrance exam that is CUET. The merit list is declared on the DU website. I searched for it on the collegedunia website and other websites. Application fees for UR-500 Rs. and OTHER-250 Rs. The admission process is quite similar to other colleges of DU. And I chose the BA program, so my eligibility criteria were a 12th pass in any stream.
