Likes
- Hostel Rooms are well furnished and in good condition.
- LT (lecture theatures) are also well maintained and Ac and WiFi is also available in lecture theatre. Both digital and white board is available in classrooms.
- Sports facility is very good. In hostels Indoor games like table tennis and badminton court is available. While outside we have a separate football ground, basketball court, volleyball court and a big cricket ground.
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is not that much good rightniw, because in first year 3 students live in one room, while in second year we get large rooms in which 6 students live. In third year we get tetra rooms, while in 4th yr we get single rooms.
- Mess food is not that much good in first year. While 2nd year onward hostels have good mess food.
- Ac facility is not available in hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is interesting because we learn most of the things practically here . We didn't get bored because along with theory we akso get practical exposure to different experiments, and also different diseases in hospitals during our postings in hospitals.
Internships Opportunities
After competition of final year, one yr of compulsory internship is required which is given at associated hospital by the college. We had to work in associated hospital. We will be posted in different departments for different durations.
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year the tution fees for general cottegory is 36000 while hostel fees for 1yr is 3600. While for Obc, sc, st tution fees is 27000 and 3600 /yr of hostel fees. Tution fees decreases by 9,000 from 2nd year, so fees from 2nd yr to final yr is 27000 for general and 18000 for other other cottegories. We recieve post metric scholarship which comes around equal or little more than tution fees.
Campus Life
Tarang is one of thd biggest fest which is celebrated in gsvm medical college. It is nearly 4 days fest, at different days , different programmes occurs. ADRENALINE (sport event) is organised each year in which most of the game is taken and competition occurs. It is also nearly one week event. Infrastructure is akso good, and also renovation of each hostel is going on by our respected principle sir.
Hostel Facilities
In first year we get room in which 3 students live in each room. In each room 3 bed, 3 table, 3 chair is available. In first year mean quality is not that much better but also not bad. Hostel is alloted to students at the time of admission manually by warden. Hostel is affordable because fees is 3600 /yr including electricity bill. For PG room we had to travel 3 killometres. Means 3 km away from college we easily get rooms on rents.
Admission
This is an old and renowned well known college. Associated hospital hallet hospital is also well known all over the country. Hospital is also just outside the college so college to hospital distance is also almost zero. Just outside the college gate is thd gate of hallet hospital. Admission in our college occurs through NEET UG. After neet ug counseling occurs.
Faculty
Faculty members are really very nice and caring for students. They helps us wherever we need them. In first year each three departments have nearly 40 faculty . And students in our class are 250. Each department have enough faculties. There are part completion tests for each extremities in Anatomy. In each subject we give 1st terminal exam in which half syllabus comes, while in terminal 2 full syllabus comes in exam. After that pre proff exam is taken. Then finally professional exam comes.
