Course Curriculum Overview
Their knowledge packed syllabus that proves to be useful to get into the academic line made me persue this course. The curriculum has everything with respect to gaining theoretical and practical knowledge, it gives hand on experiences on research. It helps us to get into Teaching and also into other prestigious organisations with its well designed curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the companies in which internships are provided are LIC, TVS, Dominos, etc Projects are from accounting, overall management, administration etc Other than Internships, many field research and factory visits are being undertaken.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd semester, students are eligible for placements. Companies visited are Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, TVS. Highest package is 80000 rupees per month, average package is 30000 rupees per month and the lowest package starts at 15000 per month. 50% of the students got placed last year
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per semester is rupees 36,000. Admission fees: rupees 500 Tution fees: rupees 15000 other fees such as Library, Lab, Project, University and Placement fee includes a total of rupees 20500. There are financial aid available for students.
Campus Life
Synergize, an intra mural event organised by the department of Mcom. Yearly culturals known as Shingar, conducted for all the students in the college. Many other Intra Departmental events are conducted by MOP Vaishnav College. VISH, a cultural event focussing on Dhandiya, Movie Screening and DJ Night.
Admission
I applied for Ethiraj College and MOP Vaishnav College. I got the seat confirmation at MOP Vaishnav earlier than Ethiraj, hence got into this college. I did not get rejected in any college. The admission process consists of an online MCQ test, followed by a physical interview inside the college campus. The eligibility is any undergraduate stream (Bcom, BBA or BA) with 50%
Faculty
The faculty with student ratio is 40:60. The teachers are exceptional in teaching, well knowledgeable and are ready to help at any point of time. Some of the staff whom I love is Rabika ma'am. She is always approachable and very friendly. The Exams are mostly challenging, but can be passed if studied properly.
