Course Curriculum Overview
Civil is considered easy and that's why I chose it. Curriculum is not at all helping as it is oriented in such a way that it doesn't help in practical application. More practical application must be included in the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Internships with stipends are being offered but it is less for civil engineering students. Even though they get these internships it is really difficult to maintain both academics and internships as the academics itself is so tight.
Placement Experience
Placements are very rare for civil which is a big negative point. Less companies are offering jobs which make the students to be in a really tough spot in life. A lot of students are unemployed due to the same as they are difficult to find jobs in their life.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is very high as compared to other colleges. The benefits offered by the college doesn't meet the fees that were given. Merit seat is considered a affordable one but has a amount of 35,000. Some scholarships are being provided but it is very limited and hard to get.
Campus Life
Technical and annual fest are really nice as these are conducted by the active students ofcourse. Provisions are less and doesn't meet the fees that are given to the college. Extracurricular activities offered are really good.
Admission
It was alloted through the keam and my third preference was the college that I'm studying now. I had less marks that's why I didn't get in the first and second one. A good mark in both 12th and keam is the basic eligibility of the admission.
Faculty
Faculties lack knowledge and they often disregard the students. Some are nice while the others are such a pain. Exams are easy and the university exams are considered a bit difficult. Often there is a problem of questions coming from outside syllabus.
