Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The curriculum they are provided is entirely different from they are actually teaching. The teaching methods are not upto level and not updated this it's hard for a student to keep up. The exams are conducted in between 2 months and only 1 practical exam will be conducted.

Fees and Financial Aid

Bsc.interior design in srinivas university is a very expensive course comparatively, but does not provide much on educational aspect. This university also ask additional fees of 2500? for examination. Other than that we have to pay for our materials and also do the site visit on our on. In a students perspective it is essential to have site visits as an interior designing course but the faculties here does not see to it. And even though it is necessary to teach software properly they do not do that so it's another expense for us.

Campus Life

1.5

Annual programs Hog and kosh are the annual programs run which will be a oneday program hog will be held at evening and kosh is an exhibition held in morning. Library There are no much books available in the library Technology and facilities There is only a single working projector for three batch of students Sports There is an annual sports meet held

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The room is around 12' by 10' and three students in one room with attached bathroom facilities. Not much clean but we can adjust. The meal is pathetic and quality is verse providing same meal which does not have the adequate amount of protein and vitamins needed to a student. And it is also very expensive.if we have rented a room it will be much affordable.

Admission

I opted for this college as they are providing a fake face to the outside world praising all their facilities and education experience but in reality all of it are false. And uthe admission process of the college is taking illegal practice like collection of our orginal copy of every certificate which is not permitted by the Indian govt. And that makes it difficult to drop out for students.

Faculty

2

When it comes to faculties, they does not have any knowledge for themselves to teach us. They are depending on YouTube or old text books. The syllabus is not updated version thus it's hard to keep up with the current economic situations. And overall there are only 3 teachers for all the three batch of students. And when it comes to exams there will be three exams conducted 2 internals and 1 semester exam.theory exams are comparatively easier than practicals.

Interview Experience

2.5

There was group discussion with the dean and others we just talked about the course and facilities and he asked one or two questions about the course to me. There is no much preparation needed for this

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

The fourth year students are eligible for placements.Mostly startup's have been visiting our university rather than the big companies. The highest package so far was 4 lakh .The percentage of students getting placements are 75% . Although they're getting placements it might not exactly be related to the course. It might be some other job aswell.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

There is some issue in placement, though we get placement the scope for the future through these placements are not that great. Many students fail to get proper placements. The scope or plan for many students is to try and open a new brand or collaborate with other students to create a new brand.

Remarks:

The college is not as per my expectations. Everything goes on changing every semester. As for now,the principal is very strict, but she has very good knowledge. Like in every college there is partiality in our college too. The theory syllabus is very less,n more practical part.
