Computer science being a specific aspect worldwide for future upliftment and technological development. University curriculum is not enough for real world applications, individuals have to Reasearch and prepare themselves by own learning new technologies and skills which are never taught in the college. Curriculum is very vast consisting of various fields but lacks in few branchs or technologies, they can improve there faculty quality and the course structure to an extend. 2 mid semesters in a gap of a month and then the final est after a gap of 1.5 month, along with the final practical exams.

Along major mass recruiting companies visit here like TCS, Delloite, accenture, tech mahindra and many more. Internship opportunities are provided by various development companies like Microsoft, amazon, wipro etc. Along with various startups too for software developer intern role or for research associate positions etc.

Yes moderate placement rate as per my experience in the university. Students become eligible to placements from 3rd year mid in my course. There are numerous companies who visit here, the figure is in hundreds. More than 1000 offers made. Highest package in my batch was around 28 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA, saying of an average of 5LPA for the for profile of software developer and business associates. In reality 50-60% is the percentage of placement of students here. My plans to get a placement this academic year before completing my degree and further to enter the corporate world after the degree.

My current semester fees for my course is 90000 per semester whereas i took admission in 2021, the fees is constantly increasing every year by minimum of 15000 which makes it 135000 per semester for this year new admission i.e. first year students in BE CSE at Chandigarh University. Scholarship can be availed by a CUCET Test online prior admission of around 20-30% .

Numerous fests and concerts are arranged here every month. Social life is great, various technical Hackathons and festivals are being organized. Smart classes with projector and air conditioned rooms are being provided. There is a separate sports complex in the college in a vast area providing every sports ability and necessities along with coaches. Various domestic and international clubs, me myself an executive member of one of them, active participation and opportunities are provided to network with different people around the country.

Chandigarh university being open to all for any course any branch, at any percentage to be frank, chose this as was near to my home and was left with no other option better than this at that moment of time. I myself applied to chitkara university, thapar patiala and punjab university, but out of all these options this was near to my home and had an affordable fee plan compared to others. I didn't got rejection from other colleges i applied, the thing was my budget as well the distance i had to cover daily. For eligibility you just need to have more than 60% in 10th and 12th. They take there own scholarship exam offering slight scholarships through CUCET exam. Students normally get 20-30% scholarship easily through the entrance exam as it is basic in difficulty level. Saying about the overall admission experience is not so good due to the management and the policies of the university like attendence compulsion of 75% and many more.

The faculty to student ratio here in BE CSE is around 1:80. Faculty is easily approachable for the tasks they are able to help us in. Academic coordinator, Er. Inderjeet sir is a gem of a person for students needy for any academic or basic help. Generally senior faculties are genuine and helping regardless the assistant professors hired by the university which lack in professionalism and basic knowledge. Most of the assistant professors are not liked by the students being least cooperative and helping. Talking about the exams, we have 2 mid semesters and then final exams every semester along with the practical exams.
