Our college is really good for a student who knows Malayalam But non-Keralite student might face many issues like many of the notices about scholarship and all are printed in Malayalam so many a times they might not get aware of many things

Entrance Exam

Course in my college are given by KTU - APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University The course is not that good if you compare IITs etc but it does have its own advantage. The course does cover everything you need and also the stress level on a student is less. Exam structure- First, two exams are conducted by the college (20 marks each) you need at least 23 marks in both of them combined else you are not allowed to give the final semester exam.

Placements and job opportunities are really good like this year out of 60 computer science students 58 students were placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, etc No, our college does not provide internship

Many events were performed in our college recently a national level event was conducted in our college - Xplore Usually, National level event is conducted every 2 years in our college before Xplore, a national event known as Yukti was also conducted in our college Some other events are Melange - it is a cultural event(for outside college students as well) with dance, music, writing, etc competitions conducted by us Xpressions - it was a cultural event specifically conducted for our college students

The fee structure in my college is really feasible and also the college lets us know about many of the scholarships that we can avail. Admission fees are - 12,000 (in 2016 might have changed now) Odd semester fees are - 7000-8000 Even semester fees are - 5000-6000

Currently, I don't know about any scholarships offered by our college through many other different scholarships by other colleges are made aware to every student I don't think the college offers any loan facility as the fees are very low it does not even reach 50000 a year

Our college always keeps on conducting extracurricular activities every Wednesday there is a small sort of event called "Kinapacha"(in Malayalam) here anyone can come and sing or dance or play an instrument etc. The lab is very good i.e the infrastructure is very good and the equipment is excellent eg.- all computers in our college have i7 processor and 8gb ram

The hostel infrastructure is just ok i.e. The men's hostel is not that good it is at least 1km away from college through the college bus does come to pick you up every day But the ladies hostel is really good It is near the college and it is also recently renovated Both the hostels have many facilities like playing ground, gym, etc

The alumni network is not that helpful to junior students But our senior students are really like they never rag, or consider us as juniors they treat us like friends. They are really helpful like at the time of admission all the seniors are present on the college premises and try to help every new student.

First - you need to write an entrance exam called KEAM Second- We are given a list of colleges in Kerala and we get to choose some colleges according to our choice. Third- Then begins rounds i.e. colleges are alloted to everyone based on their ranks example- I got a rank of 5000 and I was alloted to my college in the third round. Fourth- every time you are allotted a college you need to pay there admission fees (fees depend on each college, my college fee was 12000 in 2016) and then you are given a date to go the college and complete the admission process i.e. giving them certificates and documents.

Most of the Faculty in our college are really helpful they want what is good for us rather than the completion of the syllabus. They do promote extra activities by the students like making a website or app etc. Note: The computer science department is a new department in our college so it is still developing i.e. there is some temporary staff in CSE who are not up to the mark.
