Its campus is not big. playing ground is not maintain well.10% the practical instrument in physics is not good.

Alipurduar college has Science, arts, and commerce all subject. Here exam structure is Semester type. You must attain total of 6 semester exam. Alipurduar college is under NORTH BENGAL UNIVERSITY. My college has a maximum number of professor's.

Placement Experience

The placement is not good. In 3-4 years 1 and 2 companies have come and they hire only 5-6 students for their job.No my college doesn't provide internships.

College Events

1.College freshers program. It's a freshers party for our all freshers and it's celebrated by students cultural committee 2.Saraswati Puja Maa Saraswati is the hindu god of education, sound. It's worship in all Hindus but it's very nice to see all students from different religion celebrated with full happiness 3. annual sports Its a sport held by college and there is athletics competitions only

Fee Structure And Facilities

No, the fee structure is not expensive or feasible it's between both. No, our college has no scholarships

Campus Life

Labs are not very good but it's not bad at all. In extracurricular activities, our college is in the first position. Every year in January our college arranges an annual sports competition between students. College gives certificate and trophy for the first 3 students in any games.

Hostel Facilities

No, we don't have any hostel now because our hostel is under maintaining its structure by the goverment of West Bengal. It will be a very good hostel because the government of West Bengal sanctioned 1 crore rupees for our hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. Most of our alumni go PANCHANAN BARMA UNIVERSITY which is at Cooch Behar. If we need any help any time they help us with all their effort

Faculty

It's a very good faculty. we have our extreme good laboratory in physics, chemistry, computer science, zoology, botany, geography, etc.we have a library which consist of many books in all subject. We have a wide playing ground where you can play football, cricket, and any outdoor games.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.
