Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure changes every year. I took admission in 2023 and I paid 65000 for my 1st semester and another 65000 for my second semester. I received hostel room in New boys hostel for which I paid 65000 per semester

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

Well I had my own opinion about different colleges and I was seeking a college that could guarantee my placement in the near future or in 2027 and I found this college to be quite wonderful as it offers a wide scope for placement opportunities

Faculty

I took admission in 2023 in CEC CGC Landran I really liked the ways of teaching. Different students had different perspectives of teaching.you could not pick a single teacher and say that he or she is the best or is the worst. It's about wheather you could maintain a good student and teacher relationship or not that is all that matters

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
