Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of arts is a good course which can be done easily and it is good to do this course if u want to go in civil services I chose it do perform well in upsc cause it covers the syllabus of upsc There are some faculty who are rude and i dont like them and also dont understand their way of teaching Exams timing are good and anyone can enjoy and study during this course you will not be in huge pressure ! And i liked it thats why this course is must fir upsc and other civil services aspirants It will cover their syllabus and u will get to know more about subjects more effectively
Internships Opportunities
There is many internship programmes done by arudents and u can do the courses and earn money side by side From the college side there is not internship for ba course but for other courses there is . You can do the course for getting eligibilty for upsc and other government exams
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission fees is 22thousand and it will be increasing every year There is exam fee of 3000 rougly it depends on your subjects Then there is large amount of fine if u dont pay exam fee and i had to pay 10000 instead of 3000 Then there is attendance fine in which carva fest fees are added
Campus Life
Many events took place in this colleges of every other society My favourite one is geography society And there is carva fest held every year but i didnt attended it . It was good fest i saw it in video Facilities are better . Ac not available in many classes so it is trouble for you in summer Water supply in college is better sometimes it can create problem Sitting areas are limited Canteen is good but rates are somewhat higher but food is tasty u can comfortably enjoy your meal. Sports activites took places very often and u can participate in it Overrakk my experience till now is good and i am happy that i consider this college
Admission
I did applied to panjab university main campus for the course BA.LLB but i failed the exam . I chose this college over others because it has a name and reputation and primary thing was it is DAV and i have done my 10th class from DAV surajpur which was a good school . I failed to get admission in panjab university because i failed the exam and didnt qualify to be in the counselling Admission process of my college dav is easy Many party members are also there to help you to get admission in this college You have to fill admission form online in the dav website and visit the college for document verification and after that u have to pay the fee and u can choose your own timetable which is a very good thing U have to get at least 80 percent to secure a seat in BA easily My admission experience was good And there is no exam for my course in this college
Faculty
Faculty members are good and teach the subjects very well Exams are mst and semester exam and both exams are not soo difficult if someone study they can write the exam very nicely Marking sceme is hard . U will get pass only very few students fail to pass the exam but it is hard to get execellent or good marks . Even i try hard ti get good marks but i get just average marks .
