TEACHERS ARE WELL TRAINED HOW MUCH CLASS I HAVE DONE TILL NOW.

MESS FOOD IN 1ST MONTH WAS GOOD. BUT NOW AFTER 1 MONTH ITS TASTE VERY BAD. AND THEY GIVE US 2-3 DAYS BACK ROTI
UNCESSRY STOPPING THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING US TO LEAVE CAMPUS WITH OUT PARENTS PERMISSION. I MEAN WE ALL ARE 18+
YOU HAVE TO WEAR CLG DRESS ONLY. YOU CANNOT WEAR FORMAL DRESS.

Fees and Financial Aid

THIS YEAR FEE I PAID WAS 1.90,000 WHICH IS 50% OF MY TOTAL TUITION FEE (150000/2)+ 25000 + 90000(FOR THE UNIVERSITY HOSTEL). AND 25000 WAS THE EXAM FEE AND THE REST WAS THE PRIVATE UNIVERSITY FEE. FROM 2ND YEAR THE 25K WILL BE BECOME 7K. THERE IS A SCHOLARSHIP IF YOU SCORE MORE THAN 8 CGPA. THEY WILL GIVE YOU 20000 PER YEAR.

Campus Life

CUTM FEAST, IN EVERY FEW MONTH THERE ARE WORKSHOPS AND HACKTONS ALL THE BOOKS ARE GOOD LIBRARY IS WORLD CLASS. THERE ARE SMART BOARDS AND LOTS OF TEACHERS ALLOW STUDENTS TO MAKE NOTES ON IPADS TOO. THIS IS ALSO CALLED SPORTS UNIVERSITY THERE ARE LOTS OF SPORTS EVERY TIME. THERE ARE LOTS OF CLUBS I AM IN AEROCLUB WHICH IS REALLY AMAZING FOR MAKING RC PANES AND DRONES

Hostel Facilities

THEY TOOK 90000 FOR US FOR A YEAR, AND THERE IS A SINGLE ROOM AND GIVES US AROUND 5 PEOPLE TO LIVE WHICH IS NOT WORTH IT. MESS FOOD IS NOT GOOD IT IS NOT AVRG TOO. YOU CAN COME DURING ADMISSION AND CAN GET WAY TO ADMISSION IN CR SECTION IN LOCAL ITS GOOD THEY ARE EASY AND CHEAP TO LIVE FROM NEXT YEAR I WILL DO THAT

I CHOSE CUTM BECAUSE IT'S NEAR MY HOME CITY TALCHER AND HAS CONVENIENT TRAVEL OPTIONS LIKE BUS, TRAIN, AND INTERCITY TAXI. THE CLG FEES ARE LESS COMPARED TO OTHER PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS, MAKING IT MORE AFFORDABLE. I WENT FOR IIT/NIT BUT COULD NOT MAKE IT DUE TO LOW MARKS.AND THE ADMISSION PROCESS IS STRAIGHTFORWARD GIVE CUEE OR BY JEE YOU CAN JOIN CLG.

FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO AND APPROACHABILITY: FOR EVERY 65 STUDENTS 1 TEACHER THE FACULTY-TO-STUDENT RELATIONSHIP IS NORMALLY POSITIVE AND MOST OF THEM ARE GOOD. FAVORITE FACULTY MEMBERS AND WHY SAI SIR(EVS): HE IS GOOD AND TEACHES WELL MATH SIR(TUMBER): HIS VOICE IS LOW BUT TEACHES FINE ENGLISH MAM: SHE TEACHES US FINE HOD: HE IS WISE MAN FACULTY MEMBERS YOU DID NOT LIKE AND WHY: EDS AND APPLIED WOMEN TEACHERS: THEY ARE FULL OF ATTITUDES, WHICH MAKES US HARD TO APPROCH EXAM SYSTEM AND DIFFICULTY I HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY EXAMS YET SO, I DON'T HAVE ANY EXP YET. BUT I KNOW FROM SENIORS AROUND 10% PEOPLE FAILED BECAUSE OF LOW ATTENDANCE IF YOU FAIL ANY EXAM YOU HAVE TO TAKE EOD(EXAM OF DEMAND) COURSE SYSTEM IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU VISIT EVERY CLASS AND DO REVISION AT HOME

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

To be very precise i didn't go for any other private college this was my 1st and last choice of selection because of the fee structure which is under my budget and in Odisha only 2 to 4 colleges do provide this course but sadly i have to mention that from 2024 they have stopped this course along with emergency medical technology and operation theatre technology due to lack of students in the field.
