Likes

The class was maintained and facilities were all given as much you need, all problems are solved by respected faculty members with manners.
Campus was well cleaned with greenery, and the worker was well behaved.
The campus put restrictions in many bad habits that can destroy students future.

Dislikes

The restriction to go on outing to river area in college dress.
Small size library is bad for exam time due to full for study and other don't get seat to study in library
Risk for day scholars in travel to campus from bus the bad weather can create risk for life in landslide

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching methods was. Very good with detailed information given by faculty and if there is any issue you can personally call and ask the questions from faculty at free time. No class was skipped by the faculty but only in case of seminar.

Placement Experience

The big company like samsung, TCS , Google, Microsoft, and many new famous start-up comes every year. Employment is based on company requirements for students. Recently the girl from batch of 2021-2025 got an internship and scholarship of 2500 dollars.

Fees and Financial Aid

I get ews scholarship of 35000 approx. And scholarship start from 12 th percentage above 70 percentage. And I get 10 % state Kota. Ur 10% for being Himalayan region after this much I have to 69000 approx from total 1,31000 Rs.

Campus Life

College put an big event named grafest every year. The big celebrity like badshah and big singer like Neha Kakkar come as a chief guest. The seminar was taken by big respected person like founder of pramanu and assistant of Abdul Kalam.

Admission

I take preference from my college senior for placement company. And search in collegedunia for best reviews. After this I go for enquiry in campus and faculty give me details information about campus and fees structure.

Faculty

Every 100-90 students get the 1 class coordinator and every 5-10 students get 1 mentor faculty till last year for help in every issue. Faculty was well behaved and much helpful for every problem. The campus provide all type of device and equipment for lab class with 1-2 lab assistant.

RIT ROORKEE - A great choice for education

Likes

i like the teaching methodology of the professors
the environment of the college is very positive
each & every faculty member are very helpfull

Dislikes

city area is small, but there is many things to explore
college is very strict about attendance but it makes you punctual
you will get limited opportunity but that are excellent

Placement Experience:

There is a separate & totally dedicated Traning & placement cell. In all branches they are providing excellence placement opportunities. in the last year of my btech, approx 50+ companies visited with great packages.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

I really like the nature view from the campus.

Dislikes

I dont like the college timetable as i have 6 hours of classes and 3 hours of break in between which kills alot of time.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like samsung, infosys, IBM have offered placements. Talking about my plan i have an idea to start after my degree or maybe experience of a couple of years.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A overall overview of college in term of my thinking.

Likes

College faculty is quite supportive in term of working.
College atmosphere for study is good for students.
College social interaction and certain society are good for overall improvement of students.

Dislikes

College placement does satisfy the required term.
Some college professor are not supporting in certain circumstances.
Infrastructure is quite old as per new baches for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum of colleges influenced by some professor that include something to the world that include in the current term. Improvement thst include the teaching method and the term of it and the frequency and timing of exam along prospective of the difficulty level is more.

The college fees in so affordable for bachelor degree.
Faculty and staff is quite supportive and so interacting.

Fines were taken by the campus on each and every smalls things.
Many restrictions were put on the students.
Library of the college ony having the books related to course.

Students are eligible for campus placement after 5th semester. Many companies visit to the campus for placement of students and hire them at good packages. The highest placement is of 84 LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. 96% of students got placed in companies.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course.
