Course Curriculum Overview
Technical courses help in getting better job opportunities according to my prospective and this course is relevant to my skillset. Here in btech u will learn about various programming languages which will help u to develop ur own applications and software if you want to grow ur career in software development. Everything is okay in course curriculum.i can suggest to add some real-time project making activities in college to improve skillset of students. The duration of semester exams is of 3 hrs and the level of exams is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
You will get a very few internship opportunities in my college (MIET)which is a drawback in my college. To do internship you have to go for paid internships or you can apply for off campus internships.
Placement Experience
The placement of my college is not that much good for btech students but it's okay okay for MBA and BBA course. The company which come in my college are more of management and if u are one wanted to persue BBA or MBA you can take admission here.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am persuing my btech from Mangalmay Institute of engineering and technology affiliated to AKTU. Here the Annual fees for all AKTU Colleges for btech is around 1 lakh including (tuition ,lab fee etc)and Annual Exam form fees is around 8000 which is paid before the odd semester exams . If your college is allotted by appearing in competitive exam then you may get scholarships on tuition fee also.
Campus Life
There are very less cultural fest and technical fest in my college. There are seperate library available for each department where u can read any book of your course and intrest. All classes have proper lighting and smart board present. A few sports activities takes place in college every year.
Hostel Facilities
Seperate hostel for girls and boys are present in campus and there are cafeteria in college campus where you can purchase food of ur choice like tea coffee etc. The food of hostel mess is okay okay. Hostel provide 4 time meal to students including breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. You have to contact the administrator of hostel to check the availability of rooms in hostel and gain admission in that. It will be better to take private hostel as the rooms are better in private hostels and quality of food is also good in private hostels with same amount of fees.
Admission
I have applied to many colleges such as Chandigarh University , Gl Bajaj , KIET. I was eligible for addmission in CU but due to some personal reasons didn't took admission in that . GL Bajaj and KIET Gaziabad are very good colleges for placement and student growth but they require JEE mains exam to be cleared with a good percentile. I got admission in my college on the basis of my 12th marks and u can say it was through direct admission.
Faculty
Faculty is good in my college.For each subject there is a teacher available but the quality of teaching is okay okay. All faculty try there best to teach students efficiently and they also provide learning materials in class group . There are 2 sessional Exams and one Pre University test held by the college before the semester exams in each semester. The level of these exams are moderate and on the basis of the score in these internal exams we are given the internal marks. There are internal practicals also before the external practicals by which we get the idea of which type of questions will be asked in external practical exams. Assignment are given after the completion of Each unit which involve practice sets and are helpful in preparation of semester exams.
