Course Curriculum Overview

5

The B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics curriculum at St.Teresa's College is comprehensive, focusing on practical applications and advanced topics . However more hands on experience and updated teaching methods could enhance learning. Exam frequency is reasonable, but some could be more challenging.

Only certain courses offer internship programs and one of the courses being ours has 2 internships one in 3rd semester and one in 6th semester. Campus Life

2

The infrastructure is really bad . Not at all well made , no campus grounds as such. Not suitable for extracurricular activities. They conduct events in an auditorium. They have a really good huge library in the main block which is the arts block .

Hostel Facilities

3

I have rented a pg which is 10 minutes away from the college it is not part of the college . The rooms are of 3-4 sharing and meal quality is average. Menu cycle is followed . It is affordable and much better than the college hostel .

Admission

I did not apply to other colleges , the admission process was held in a professional manner . It was very simple , judged accordingly to marks and based on religion. I did not get rejected from other colleges as i didn't apply for them

Faculty

4

In st teresa's college , the faculty to student ratio is about 1:15 in ratio . Professors are supportive , fostering open communication. The exam system includes two midterms and a final exam for each semester. Exams are typically rated moderate in difficulty with about 10-15% students facing challenge in clearing them . The curriculum is relevant and updated regularly, though some subjects can be high demanding . Overall , St. Teresa's college provides a supportive academic environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a chemistry lover. I want to become a chemist. That why I am passionately choose this course. Sree Narayana College, Cherthala was my first option. Their previous year pass percentage is the main attraction to me. There are 38 students in my class. And overall 100-110 students in my department. In our college, other 4 department has Chemistry as complementary course. There are 6 teachers in my department. 4 of them had PhD. One s registered for PhD. They are very brilliant and friendly teachers. The help us verymuch to improve our knowledge and cracking competitive examinations. They taught very well. Laboratory experience is the main attraction of SN college. They provide beautiful lab section. After I passed out, college offered a post graduation. All the 6 semester exams was undertaken by University if Kerala in regular intervals. EXAMINATIONS and Result publications are very well maintained by The University. We are really comfortable.
