Remarks
The college is close to my home and I had a few connection as faculty and seniors who suggested me to opt this college. This college was my first choice so I didn't face rejection from anywhere else. The eligibility criteria is not very harsh. I was admitted in based on my score in the UPTU examination. I'm not sure if it is still being conducted or if the criteria is solely based on JEE now
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest the curriculum is outdated, and its same everywhere. Except for the additional courses that are being opted these past few years such as ML/AI, Data science, etc. But the lectures were planned accordingly and real world applications were taught to us. The exam difficulty was easy but the syllabus completion was sometimes a bit delayed.
Placement Experience
The placements in my college are good enough. The average package every year is around 6-7LPA. Almost 100% of the students are placed every year at a package that is desirable and is good enough for them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees varies by a few thousands but not by a huge margin. We were made to pay the fees semester wise, so twice a year. There are UP government schemes for fees waiver and scholarships if you are eligible.
Campus Life
The campus life is good and the best part about it is the various fests and activities conducted every week. The annual festival UDHBAV is one of a kind, which attracts a lot of attention. Multiple events are planned for the next 2 days and on the final day famous celebrities are invited to the college to perform.
Faculty
The faculty is outstanding and is really helpful. I personally liked my HOD of CSE department, since he used to mentor us throughout our projects and would be eager to solve any kind of doubt. Every semester had 3 sets of exams from which best 2 were considered for grading purpose.
