I THINK CODING IS EASY NOT SO WEEL IMPROVE THE PRACTICALITY OF THE CODING SUBJECTS THERE ARE TWO MID SEM AND 1 FINAL EXAM EVERY SEM MID SEM EXAM ARE OD 20 MARKS ONE HOUR TIME AND FINAL EXAM IS OF THREE HOURS.

I APPLIED LPU ALSO BUT FEE IS VERY HIGH AS COMPARE TO CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY CAMPUS AREA IS GOOD ENOUGH IN CU ALSO THERE IS SIMPLE ADMISSION PROCESS THERE AS YOU WANT TOP PASS ONLY 12 CLASS AND YOU WILL ALSO GET SCHOLARSHIP FOR 12TH MARKS.

Faculty

FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO IS 40:1 . TEACHERS ARE FRIENDLY IN NATURE AS MOST TEACHERS ARE YOUNG ONES. GAGANDEEP SINGH SIR IS BEST AND AMRITA CHAUDRY MAAM IS NOT SO GOOD. THERE ARE 5 EXAMS PER SEMESTER. ONLY 10 PERCENT STUDENTS ARE FAIL BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT COME TO CLASSROOM.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

I applied to multiple colleges like SRM Chennai, VIT vellore, and Lovely Professional University(LPU). I got confirmed admisison from all of them. I choose this university cause of the low fees and it is near to the place where I live. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
