Likes

The teachers are very warm and communicative
It's near us and quite affordable too so it's convenient
The surrounding of our college is much better than others

Dislikes

The library is not always available and open for us
The classroom could improve more like other prominent colleges
We don't have a good hostel so not convenient for students from far away places

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose my course because I'm good at it than other course. And I'm quite interested in this too. The teaching method could be improved by focusing more on practical than just about theory. The frequency of exam is good it doesn't give us pressure.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 2600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

They took around 2800 for our second semester examination and around 2600 for first semester and 100 for second semester admission. They provide scholarship of 80000 per year through national scholarship scheme

Campus Life

I'm not very active with campus life but our college celebrated a lot of occasion annually like recently we celebrated patriot's day and independence day in August. We are accessible to all the books in the library. We have a football ground and a basketball campus in our college. But we don't have any social groups and clubs.

Admission

I chose this college because it's nearcme and convenient for me. I didn't apply to any other colleges. I could've got a better one with my mark but I didn't do it. Our college accepted students according to their 12th marks.

Faculty

The faculties members are very warm and communicative towards us. I like our zoology professors the most because they guide us a lot for career. But I don't like the geology faculty they are quite rude.

Likes

College faculty are so helpful and understand our problems
Currently temporary campus is small but in some years new campus will come to its work
Faculties are expert in their fields and there is only cse and ece that's why they only focus on these branch

Dislikes

Currently situation of manipur is good but here is curfew after 8 P. M
Placement is pretty average, mostly people placed by Offcampus
Temporary Campus size of iiit manipur is comparatively smaller then other iiit's

Placement Experience:

Currently our college provide B.tech M.tech and PHDs to students and placement is pretty average for newly opened IIIT . Median package of CSE is 8.5 lakh and highest package is 40lakh which is pretty good.

The Insights of Dhanamanjuri College of Arts

Likes

Not much except my English Hons Teaching staff. As I said it's a dry college and I don't recommend students to study in this college for now.
Atleast it's the only decent college in Manipur

Dislikes

Poor Infrastructure, some of the buildings are old and it needs to be renovated.
Poor Sports Facility. There's no Basketball court which is very important, no swimming pool, no racing track etc
Exams are always done late and this is by far the worst thing about this college. And there's no fest in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had no specific course set in my at that moment but out of all, English seemed quite well-performing department among other departments. Plus it was not too difficult to start with as English was a common subject and we were used to it. The classroom buildings were not too good but it was manageable. At first day the classroom seemed small and wasn't able to fit in all of the students, but gradually the attendance kept decreasing which is a common thing and now only 60 of us are attending the classes. The teachers are well qualified with a Doctorate qualification and I don't have anything bad to say about them. Their teaching methods are easy to understand, and they're punctual; they don't usually skip classes. The exams on the other hand was the most disappointing thing about this college. Every exams were delayed atleast 2 months, and due to that out classes always started later than other colleges. The difficulty level is moderate but more than 50% students didn't manage to pass.

Journey to NIT MANIPUR

Remarks:

It's a nit college so more chance to get placed in any reputed company. You can visit our official Website www.nitmanipur.ac.in to get everything you require. It's placed in a hilly and peaceful area providing good environment for studies. There's food problem a little bit for vegetarians as they focus on non veg more, though they prepare veg foods for vegetarians. Teachers are well learned here. A Good companies visit every year and placement package is also increasing year by year.

Good university for MCA course.

Admission:

The admission process was very good in our university. It was based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Students after qualifying their three years of B.CA/B.SC (Computer science) are eligible to get admission in this course.

One good International University

Admission:

I got admission in this college through online and I also attend the entrance exam in person conducted by the college. Since I scored more than 70% I received a call letter from the college. The admission process was so easy and I joined in the college after I got my call letter.
