Course Curriculum Overview

4

I loved Economics from my 11th std so that i took B.A and now pursuing M.A Economics. The Curriculum prepares me more knowledge about the Economics in the real world and also helping me to understand more deeply about the Links and the Impacts of things happening around world due to Economic Activities and Decisions.

Placement Experience

3

The Final semester students are eligible for campus placements. I have heard that Citi bank, other banks have visited here for Campus placements. The average package we can expect here in our college placement is ?2 LPA. The students getting placements are low only as the requirements of Campanies are very high. I am going to clear NET Exam and gonna apply here PH.D .

Fees and Financial Aid

Year fees :- The year fees may varies but always below ?1000 only, and you have to pay exam fees seperately. Exam fees :- The exam fees was charged on the basis of per exam paper as ?200 each paper. Categories discount on fees ( college fees) :- SC/St students fees is very low, in fact they pay half of the Fees paid by other caste people. Schoolarship :- Most of the Government Schoolarships are available here for students to apply.

Campus Life

3

The Annual sports day which happens yearly once in the college and note that here more events or programme held related to studies and department. No other festivals or Culturals in college. The Morning shift college have separate library and Evening shift college have separate library. And we have also access for books in our own department library. Here NCC are conducted.

Admission

I applied This college only. I just wanna join here or else i dont wanna continue my Higher studies. As i know here the course fees was very low comparing to other aided college available in Chennai and this college had a very good reputation in chennai among the students as well as Parents. The admission Process are very long waiting process here as they ask you to apply college application in portal and you have to wait for their call approximately for 1 to 2 months.

Faculty

5

The Faculty- to - student ratio are Good. The Faculty to student relationship are Quit Good and they are very keen to approach during the class as well as within the campus. Devendran, Manoj, Raju, Ragu, Chandramouli, Chandresekaran, Prakash, Vincent, suresh Etc these are our professors names and i like all of them. I have 7 to 6 papers per sem and 2 papers are Not core and all other 5 papers are core subject only and they are moderate level of difficulty.

Interview Experience

5

I had personal interview, where they asked about my personal details only. The process of admission was easy only, you have to apply in Online and wait till they make you call and ask you summit documents. It very easy process , but the wait was quit long.

Remarks:

The college has good in the language before some few years back. And still now it’s somhow good in relevance in the studies but sometimes much more pressure and extra works that was not much necessary in the departmental curriculum. One bad things is the college didn’t listen to the students voice and opinions and students were considered as money. Much more pressure and once president said is finalised and no options. There is many stories within the students that cannot reveals but most of all they wait for the graduation.
