Dislikes
- We were provided with no placements were other branches and provided with it. I don’t feel it’s right and also we kept on spoke to the professor about the placemats and they kept on ignoring that question. Now we left no jobs
- Gitam could be inproved to better Algin with my personal and professional goals while the faculty expertise and teaching methods commandable I believe that updating curriculum to include more pratical and industry relavent content.
- Including campus emenities and learning faculty could be enhanced while the college provide essential facilities there is room for improvement in terms of modernising and infrastructure and expanding amenities to cater to the diverse needs of student
Course Curriculum Overview
The specific aspects of the psychology cirrocumulus that influenced my decision to choose this course were the diverse range of topics and covered the practical application of the subject. I was drawn to the opportunity to study human behaviour and cognition
Fees and Financial Aid
So in Gitam University for BA psychology students, the annual fee for the batch 2021 was 60k and for the batch 2022, it was increased to 1lakh. There is a scholarship offered for the students who perform well in the Gitam University entrance exam which can cover up to 75% of fees. However to maintain this scholarship the students are expected to achieve the same or higher marks to continue with the same scholarship fee. If the student fails to do so, the scholarship gets removed
Campus Life
We have so many festivals and fests happening in my college. It's like we had something or the other every month. We have a library with wide range of books availablity Classrooms were fine with basic facilities but now they getting renovated. Gym is also thr in college Huge cricket stadium Indoor games We have so many clubs including for lgbtq According to my knowledge we have more thn 5 clubs
Admission
Because Andhra Pradesh has very few colleges for psychology. For ba psychology it has only two. So when I compared and I felt gitam is better. That's how impulsive I took my decision. And yeah I don't think I regret my decision. No I haven't got rejected anywhr. Online and offline both admission are available in my college. 50% is the minimum for admission.
Faculty
The faculty ratio is less compared to the students. It's like 2:10 ratio. I liked the faculty because they are friendly and understanding. My psychology ma'am. Their are the faculty whom I didn't like at all but that's okay I somehow many aged with them too I m sorry I can't name them. I feel it's very personal. Their were so many exams Every sem nearly had 7 exams and 7 papers. No they aren't so difficult they are fine manageable. No student failed as far as I know about the students. Its all relative grading thr is no chance to fail. It was all online notification and only sem was offline rest all like mid exams and everything was online.
