Likes
- Campus is really nice and large especially since it contains 3 different college , there is also farm and animals including a white horse
- Studies wise teachers are all highly educated,all are nice and helpful and approachable anytime,since college is a autonomous exam dates and portions are more lenient and understandable
Dislikes
- Event and activities are low because participation is low ,people here prefer to go home and rest rather than going for events but that doesn't mean events aren't there,especially since we are needed to fulfill the activity points requirement
- Low amounts of girls,the ratio for boys to girls are like 6:4 ,they vary in different department tho but most classes have boys as majority,mechanical department 3rd year has only 6 girls in a class so it's very variable
- Anything related to attendance and marks aren't lenient and everything is very strict
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum are perfect and well made every year,there aren't any old things we need to learn since everything is updated, They could improve by adding mini projects every sem rather than last 3 sems only, Internal 1 happens almost towards the middle of sem and internal 2 happens just before the semester ends and finals happen at the end of the semester Internals aren't hard ,final is moderate since there's a lot to learn
Placement Experience
From what I know there is placements from 6th semester and a lot of people gets placed here, companies who hires here are a lot ,some of the big ones are TCS ,Wipro etc, Lowest is around 4 lack per annum i think,don't know about highest As far as I know arround 50 percent of students gets placed here I am also planning to get campus placement and looking for a job
Fees and Financial Aid
Around 1 lac per year for tution and other ,min 90k plus if you take hostel, 10k caution deposit, Tution fees are 75k for keem 85k for management 90k for other Not aware of any scholar shop but there is a dual course provided where you study 2 years here and 2 years abroad The fees is actually decreasing tuition wise,hostel is canstand but mess fees varies slightly Also heard that if you are bringing there is a extra 5 lac fees at the begning one-time.
Campus Life
Campus Life is great especially because hostel is also in campus grounds Everyone's very open and social and it isn't hard to find your perfect type of people,everyone's very friendly and comes from different backgrounds There are many clubs here and I am part of NDLI club here ,most clubs have some kind of events every weeks We have festivals like techstetra and aaravan every year ,also we celebrate most of the events like onam and christmass here,we have access to a vast online library here All classrooms are ventiated and all labs have air conditioning, All classrooms have projectors There are many extra curricular activities like cricket,football,table tennis,volley ball,etc here
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and mess facilities are good and well maintained overall,there are 2 types of rooms 3 people with common bathroom 2 people with attached bathroom which is around 30k extra Mess is good with 3 meals and 1 tea snacks Menue is different according to the day Friday is vegetarian day They provide veg and non veg during every meal A snack along with tea or coffe is provided Morning tea ,coffe, boost is provided Breakfast there is always option for bread and jam along with normal menue Registration is thought the college itself
Admission
Actually this is the first and only college i applied for ,this colleges curriculum intrested me so much that I was determined to get admission here Here the admission is straightforward,there is a interview and documents submission and the most preferred course here currently is Computer science, They accept all official exams accepted in India and since I was cbse I didn't have any issues
Faculty
Obviously student are more than teachers but in a adequate amount where we never had any period without teachers ,all are highly educated and most have doctorates, Every year there is 6 subjects in which one is pass or fail,we although autonomous follow ktus guidelines Every sem there is 3 exams ,2 internals and a final for theory subjects and 1 internal and 1 final for lab Marking scheme is out of 150,100 is final exam written and 50 is sessional where 10 is for attendance and 10 for assignment 30 from internal All faculty are nice and well mannered ,there are no stikes or anything here and since I don't have a favourite faculty i would say I like them all Exams are moderately hard but not impossible,there are 3 exams every semester ,I would say less than 15 percent fail in a class
