Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well I am in CSE department with specialization in AI and ML. I opted for this course due to the incoming scope of AI in the near future and I have subjects related to my specialization and the same goes with other specializations and departments. If one have to choose a course for their Btech degree I would highly recommend this course which will certainly help them getting a good and well paying job in their near future. Well there can be some more subjects for deep knowledge and for building more specific applications which are really useful for the real world but till now the amount of things they have taught is pretty good and really helpful.

Placement Experience

3

My college provides placements for students starting from their 4th year of the degree. So when 4th year starts companies start visiting the college one by one and start taking coding rounds and selects ceratin number of students who then go through some interview rounds and all other rounds the company does for selection. On an average the salary provided by companies in the In-Campus placement is around 6-6.5 LPA and the highest depends on the students like if a student cracks a high paying job or not it depends on him/her. Well generally its around 14-18 LPA. But some students take placements off-campus, and there are records of stidents getting placed in Microsoft also but off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees for the 1st year is around 135000, the 2nd year fees is something around 130000 and now currently in my third year the fees was 125000 and the fees in the fourth will be 127000 and in total the college fees will be something around 55000

Campus Life

3

In general when you are in 1st or 2nd year of college you will be eligible for attending the freshers party which are hosted for the 1st year newcomers. And when you are in 3rd or 4th year you are eligible to attend the farewell party which is hosted for the final year students. On an average there are around 2 sports events held in the college one is the inter-department sports fest for everyone in the college and one is the zonals level which is inter-college where other colleges also take part. After that we have one dj-nights fest which is for hostellers and a college fest known as VIBGYOR which is the biggest fest among all the fets and is held for 3 days in which various events are done and in every VIBGYOR they also conduct a celebrity nights where they call celebrities like singers and artists to put on a show. Other than these the college life is really boring as you have to attend the classes to have atleast 75% attendance and the campus is also not that big to wander around.

Admission

I personally didn't apply to any other college. I didn't clear my JEE exams so as my relatives live in Noida they suggested me this college and I searched for this college and learnt about the college then I contacted the college and had information of how everything goes there and reported in the college for my admission. They first took my Maths, physics and chemistry percentage from my 12th marksheet in the phone call, calculated it and then said that I was eligible for the admission process and told me that they will be taking a physical interview round for providing me admission. Then after they took a small interview and asked some simple questions then they gave me an option of three courses I was eligible for and I chose for AI and ML

Faculty

There are teachers for every department and are completely different based on the subjects which are taught to students. Every department has 5-6 subjects every semester and every subject has 2-3 particular teachers for teaching those subjects and some departments have more than one sections and every section has atmost 70 students each and there are lans and practical classes with different teachers to teach them

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
