Course Curriculum Overview
In Chandigarh University B.tech is not available only BE is available in which more focus or importance is given to theoretical part rather than practical part. There is less hands-on practice on our essentials for course. So it's less interestive for most of the students. They are completing all the curriculum things for the sake of good CGPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee structure is INR 106000 per semester for all categories. Additional fees is 2500 which is examination fess and 2000 is security fees that we need to give while taking admission and after degree security fees is refundable. Some students have taken loan and their loan is sanctioned from the government every semester. But there is no allowance for SC/ST. Fees is same for all but they are given benefit in other exams that are held by university curriculum. This course is quite expensive but for studies everyone is ready to do it.
Campus Life
The campus life of the college is very good. There are many food couts and the south camous of the university is just amazing. In evening everyone is enjoying the vibe of the college. Every semester our sections got shuffled and everyone get new friends so there are many friends who are left behind and many are continued till the last year of the college life. As it is near Chandigarh everyones goes on weekend with their friends to have fun and enjoy when our classes are off. But for hostellers there is a timing, for girls hostel it's 8:30 and fr boy"s its 10pm but the faculty residing in hostels can go outanytime there is no limtation on them.
Admission
My prents told that we want to keep you in Punjab only and I heard good rating about this university and some well known teachers are also teaching who are like family t me wso for proper guidance and good work, I opted this university over others.
Faculty
Faculty teaching in Chandigarh University is very nice as they all are PHD holders or currently pursuing PHD along with teaching. There is a proper heirarchy given to students of teachers if any problem comes then student should contact to whom. First mentor then academic coordinator then HOD then AD and then further higher authorities.
